Tiger Woods is registered for June's U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club but hasn't announced whether he will play in the second major, or when he will return to competitive golf after undergoing two back procedures in 2015.
But Monday, Woods looked the part of competitive golfer as the 40-year-old played five holes with Mark O’Meara at Woods' own Bluejack National near Houston with several hundred fans on hand as the course celebrated its ceremonial opening.

If Woods is to play the U.S. Open, he will need to test the waters with a warmup tournament.
Golf analysts have predicted Woods could return in as soon as two weeks at a PGA Tour event in Charlotte, N.C., or the Players Championship on May 12. But others believe the date to circle is June 2. That's when the Memorial Tournament — a Jack Nicklaus-hosted event in Dublin, Ohio — is set to begin.
Woods is a five-time winner of the tournament that Nicklaus built and could view it as a perfect way to begin a summer return.
