Scottie Scheffler odds to win all four golf majors

Just when bettors thought there was no way to make good money when it comes to Scottie Scheffler golf odds, we’ve got a bet that should pique interest.

With him being off to a scorching start to 2024, including winning four of his last five starts, he’s going to have low odds each and every time he tees it up.

In fact, Scheffler is anywhere from +350 to +450 (depending on the betting site) to win each of the three remaining majors.

Not a good return for your money (but we will probably still pick him at least once, you’ll have to wait to see which one or ones).

But the bet we are going to look into is a prop bet that Scheffler will win all four majors.

The odds are at +4000 on DraftKings and FanDuel for Scheffler to win the Grand Slam.

Are odds for Scottie Scheffler to win Grand Slam worth considering?

We don’t think that’s nearly as high as the odds should be since Bobby Jones, back in 1930, is the only one to accomplish that feat.

Tiger Woods has come the closest since that time. In 2000, he won the year’s final three majors and then followed that up by winning the Masters in 2001…now known as the Tiger Slam.

Scheffler was possibly a missed 10-foot putt from winning his last five starts in a row.

While he isn’t likely to stay hot enough to win all three major events over the next three months--with impending fatherhood adding to his routine--we’re bettors and we love longshots.

This one stretches even our faith in Scheffler, but when you’re hot, you’re hot.

And Scheffler’s nothing short of sizzling.

One quick side-note. According to reports, Scheffler’s caddie, Teddy Scott, has earned more in his payouts from working with Scheffler in 2024 than Rory McIlory has earned on the course.

Scott has likely been paid $1.78 million (going on a scale of five percent for making a cut to seven percent for a top-10 finish to 10 percent to a victory).

McIlroy is at $1.71 million in on-course winnings.

Breaking down Scheffler's chances to win each remaining major

But, back to Scheffler.

Looking at his play in the majors, this wager makes sense.

He’s already won the Masters in 2024 after also winning it in 2022.

Next up is the PGA Championship in May at Valhalla in Louisville, KY.

There’s no problem here as he was T-2 in 2023. He’s already established that he’s more than comfortable in the bright lights of the spotlight when it comes to majors even though he just has two majors on his resume (two Masters titles) in his 10 PGA Tour wins.

Following the PGA will be the U.S. Open in June at Pinehurst No. 2 in North Carolina. This one tends to really force players to bring their A-plus game. The course setup is always as challenging as it gets and that means there’s less room for error.

No trouble here as Scheffler was T-3 in 2023.

See a pattern coming into focus here?

Then is the finale, the Open Championship.

In 2023, Scheffler was T-23…by far his worst showing in the majors last year.

In 2024, the Open Championship will be held in July at Royal Troon.

There you have it: The three remaining majors and the one guy who can still win the Grand Slam: Scottie Scheffler.

We’ve already shown you it’s not in your best interest to bet against him.
