PGA Championship 2016: Jimmy Walker makes statement on back nine image

He was too busy looking over the edge of a sand trap. Had he glanced at the leaderboard, Walker would have seen Henrik Stenson and Jason Day a stroke behind and threatening.

Next thing you knew, Walker was looking over the lip of the cup, where his bunker shot ended. And he saw a two-stroke lead.

Relax? Forget about it.

Worry? Are you kidding?

Walker stood at 13 under, two strokes ahead of Day, through 15 holes and seven to go to the Wanamaker Trophy. Day was one hole ahead and in need of something dramatic, if not miraculous, to repeat as champion.
