Kevin Kisner of the United States and Ireland's Padraig Harrington took advantage of Saturday's favorable playing conditions to make strides up the leaderboard at the PGA Championship.
As overnight co-leaders Jimmy Walker and Robert Streb prepared hit the course, they were two strokes ahead of the competition. Kisner and Harrington made the pack of pursuers larger.

Play was suspended before the leaders began play as lightning and rain approached. It was hoped the storm would pass and allow completion of the third round.
UPDATE: No dice. Tournament officials announced about 6 p.m. ET that play would not resume. That means a long Sunday for leaders — if play continues. Forecasters called for rain Saturday night, Sunday and into Monday.
Harrington, a three-time major champion, shot a bogey-free 5-under 65 to get to 4 under for the tournament. Everything clicked for Kisner, who also moved carded a 65 to get to 5 under on Saturday.
Kisner finished Round 3 with seven birdies and two bogeys. He could be in contention heading into the final round with wind and rain in the forecast over the weekend.
The wind picked up as the day progressed at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, N.J., west of New York City. That portended problems for the leaders, including Jason Day as he started two strokes behind Walker and Streb.
Phil Mickelson continued his climb from a triple-bogey that sent him back to 4 over on Friday. He shot a 2-under 68 Saturday.
Major winners Justin Rose and Charl Schwartzel also made a move Saturday. They both shot 4-under 66s to get to 2 under.
Rickie Fowler started Saturday at 4 under. Jordan Spieth at 3 under was among players tied for 17th.
