PGA Championship 2016: Uncivil behavior draws stinging response image

Fans were a pain in the neck several times at the PGA Championship. Snarky comments or downright disruptive screams drew the ire of players and, at times, caddies.

So when one mouth roared during Saturday's third round, shouting during Bubba Watson's backswing, enough was enough. It wasn't Watson, however, who delivered a sharp tongue-lashing.

That's caddie Ted Scott, and we'll provide the words for you and the unidentified loudmouth to read.

"Go watch in your grandma's basement. You're better there. You can tweet about it."

Watson, as you might tell by the death stare, was (we'll say it politely) unhappy.

Some players lauded the fans, but Watson wasn't alone in being peeved. On Friday, a fan bellowed "Baba Booey!" after a Graeme McDowell shot. McDowell's response was just as pointed but less family-friendly.

On Sunday, McDowell had a more polite response.

Watson finished 1 over for the tournament. McDowell missed the cut.

Decorum, if not dead, is dying a slow, painful death.
