After a moving day that didn't live up to its name at the Farmers Insurance Open, the top of the leaderboard heading into the final round is loaded with players seeking their first PGA Tour win.
Only 18 of the 79 players who teed it up Friday on the South Course at Torrey Pines shot under par, leading to a mostly status quo feel on the leaderboard. Round 2 leader Stephan Jaeger struggled to a 73, nine strokes worse than Thursday, but carries a one-shot lead over Matthieu Pavon and Nicolai Hojgaard into the final round.
Jaeger (11 under for the tournament) enters Saturday positioned for his first PGA Tour victory, and the eight men immediately behind him can say the same. A handful of more seasoned players will start the day tied for 10th at four shots back, with the likes of Xander Schauffele, Tony Finau, Will Zalatoris and Ludvig Aberg all sitting at 7 under.

Coverage of the final round of the 2024 Farmers Insurance Open will begin on ESPN+ at 12 p.m. ET with streams highlighting featured groups and holes. Broadcast coverage starts at 2 p.m. ET on the Golf Channel, then switches to CBS at 4 p.m. ET for the remainder of the round.
