The American Century Championship is heading back to Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course with a loaded field of athletes and celebrities ready to participate in a tournament that raises funds for local and national charities.
Warriors guard Stephen Curry, who won the event last year, will not be able to participate in the 2024 tournament because he is on the Team USA roster and preparing for the upcoming Paris Olympics. With Curry unable to defend his title, a new champion will be crowned.
There should still be plenty of star power, as some of the most prominent athletes in American sports are looking to showcase their golf skills. Names on the tournament list include Josh Allen, Travis Kelce and Aaron Rodgers. Former tennis player Mardy Fish will attempt to win the tournament after finishing right behind Curry in 2023.
