Tom Brady's fantasy value surges after beating NFL's Deflategate suspension image

Attention, fantasy football owners: U.S. District Judge Richard Berman nullified Tom Brady's four-game suspension Thursday, possibly ending the "Deflategate" saga.

Obviously, this means Brady will be on the field Week 1 against the Steelers, but what does it mean for the overall fantasy football landscape?

Tom Brady's fantasy football outlook

Congratulations if you got Tom Brady at a steep discount in fantasy football drafts while he was facing the threat of a four-game suspension. Now that it has been overturned, Brady returns to fantasy football stud status as our No. 5-ranked quarterback and should be drafted around the likes of Peyton Manning and Drew Brees. Though we're a little concerned about the early-season health of Brandon LaFell, who could land on the PUP list, and Julian Edelman, once at least one of them is at full speed, Brady will be just fine, mainly because of one big reason...

Rob Gronkowski's fantasy football outlook

Also, congratulations to those fantasy football drafters who took a risk on Gronkowski in the first or second round. Now with Brady back on the field, Gronk becomes a sure-fire stud and separates himself even more from the rest of the weak TE rankings. If you have yet to draft, Gronk is a fine choice late in the first round, and an absolute steal in the second.

What about the Patriots receivers?

The Patriots wide receivers all get a boost now that they won't have to work with Jimmy Garappolo for four games. That said, we need to see Brandon LaFell (foot) and Julian Edelman (ankle) healthy before going all-in. If you have to pick in fantasy football drafts, Edelman is the safest play, especially in PPR formats. LaFell could be headed for the PUP list, which would cost him the Patriots' first six games, keeping him out until at least Week 8.
