Daily Fantasy Football Week 13 Picks: DraftKings tournament lineup, strategy, advice image

Will Brandin Cooks and Eric Ebron bounce back this week? We're hoping for depressed ownership percentage in DraftKings tournament lineups after they put up donuts last week, which is why they're both among our Week 13 daily fantasy football picks.

Ideally the Matty-Julio stack avoids chalk with the help of Aaron Rodgers and Mike Evans going for slightly cheaper. That's an example of the strategy game you have to play if you want to win a big GPP contest.

WEEK 13 DFS: FD cash lineup | FD GPPValuesDFS lineup builder

QB Matt Ryan, ATL vs. KC ($6,800): Trevor Siemian ripped 300 yards to continue the trend of opposing QBs exploiting KC corners away from Marcus Peters. Aaron Rodgers should pull some of Ryan’s ownership at a similar price point ,and the Week 12 Julio Jones dud may limit shares on the Matty-Julio stack.

RB Doug Martin, TB at SD ($5,700): The absence of Charles Sims really gives Martin the ceiling of an $8K running back based on his past weekly upside. Martin took 25 of 29 backfield touches against Seattle, and his efficiency should only increase as he gets healthier.

RB James Starks, GB vs. HOU ($4,400): Even when counting Ty Montgomery as part of the backfield, Starks received 22 of 31 backfield touches and easily finished first in both carries and targets on Monday. An efficient Aaron Rodgers is actually a huge bonus for Green Bay’s run game.

WEEK 13 RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

WR Julio Jones, ATL vs. KC ($8,700): Jones can go for nothing one week and for 50 another. We know the drill. Marcus Peters typically doesn’t shadow, and Kyle Shanahan runs a master class in exploiting matchups.

WR Brandin Cooks, NO vs. DET ($6,400): Another spot where we hope to benefit from depressed ownership off an outlier week. Drew Brees’ distribution tendencies and the emergence of Michael Thomas should greatly diminish the chances of corner Darius Slay shadowing Cooks.

WR Jamison Crowder, WAS at ARI ($5,800): So much more than your typical stud returner, your typical stud slot receiver, your typical shifty gadget option. Per Pro Football Focus data, since Week 8 Crowder ranks eighth among all receivers in PPR points per snap. Patrick Peterson will lock down someone else, and as we saw last week, the Taylor Gabriel-types get space.

TE Eric Ebron, DET at NO ($3,900): Detroit ensured that a large swath of America could tilt in front of their extended family, making Eric Ebron a physically gifted decoy on Thanksgiving. But in the four-week span leading up, Ebron ranked top five among TEs in both yards and targets.

FLEX Brandon LaFell, CIN vs. PHI ($4,300): LaFell is no No. 1 receiver but has received nine targets per game since A.J. Green hurt his hammy. Philly allows the 10th-most DraftKings points to opposing WRs and has allowed a 100-yd receiving day in each of the past three weeks.

DST Broncos at Jaguars ($3,900): Denver’s defense ruined so many covers and lost so many fantasy games for people facing Tyreek Hill -- just in the 45 minutes after people went to bed Sunday night. You can fully expect them to bounce back against the league interception leader.
