To assemble the best daily fantasy football lineup possible, you're going to need the right value picks. Even if you think a "cheap" player may be past sleeper status and highly owned — like, say, DeAngelo Williams and Jeremy Langford this weekend with Le'Veon Bell and Matt Forte out — you can still add him and worry about differentiation when buying a star with the leftover cash you've saved.

Regardless of where you like to save and spend your DFS money, we've found the best daily fantasy football values at each position on FanDuel and DraftKings for NFL Week 9 using FantasyPros' stat projections and estimated Cost Per Point (CPP). Use these value picks in your FanDuel lineup for the Week 9 Sporting News Football Championship qualifier.

Best daily fantasy QB value picks

FanDuel: Derek Carr, Raiders at Steelers ($7,000). This is getting ridiculous. Despite tossing multiple touchdowns in five of his last six games, including four last week against the Jets, Carr still only gets a modest boost in price. We'll keep highlighting him until his price catches up.

DraftKings: Jay Cutler, Bears at Chargers ($5,200). Cutler is a cheap entry fee to what could be a high-scoring contest Monday night. Though the passing yardage totals are low for both defenses, the Bears and Chargers have allowed 30 touchdown passes combined.

Best daily fantasy RB value picks

FanDuel: DeAngelo Williams, Steelers vs. Raiders ($6,500). One of the two most obvious value-RB choices in Week 9, Williams will handle the feature role for Pittsburgh with Le'Veon Bell out. Williams had 20-plus carries in each of his two starts this season.

DraftKings: Jeremy Langford, Bears at Chargers ($4,000). The second of the most obvious value-RB choices, Langford steps in for Matt Forte and gets a great matchup against the Chargers, who allow the most fantasy points per game to RBs in most formats.

Best daily fantasy WR value picks

FanDuel: Michael Crabtree, Raiders at Steelers ($5,800). With Carr lighting it up, it makes sense that we also like Crabtree again. Hey, Amari Cooper can't do all the work.

DraftKings: Stevie Johnson, Chargers vs. Bears ($3,200). If healthy, Johnson is going to get more targets with Keenan Allen done for the season. It also helps that the Chargers are struggling to move the ball, and that the Bears have allowed 16 TD passes. Malcom Floyd ($3,900) is also in play.

Best daily fantasy TE value picks

FanDuel: Delanie Walker, Titans at Saints ($5,500). With Kendall Wright (knee) hurting and the Saints struggling against TEs, it could be a busy day for Walker. He's already been averaging more than eight targets in the last five games.

DraftKings: Heath Miller, Steelers vs. Raiders ($2,700). Miller was much more involved with Ben Roethlisberger back under center in Week 8 (10-108 on 13 targets). Now he gets a Raiders team allowing the most fantasy points to TEs.
