After breaking the record for most consecutive wins in Formula One history with his 10th straigh race victory at Monza last time out, Red Bull's Max Verstappen will look to extend it even further at this weekend's 2023 Singapore Grand Prix.

Understandably, the Dutch driver enters as the heavy favourite again according to the bookmakers, even after he failed to clinch pole position in Italy two weeks ago at the expense of Ferrari's Carlos Sainz.

A win at the Marina Bay Street Circuit in the sport also remains elusive so far for Verstappen, who's failed to win on six previous occasions here, while last season his P7 finish in Singapore represented his joint-worst of the season.

That could leave the door slightly ajar for the chasing pack then, not least teammate Sergio Perez who has now finished on the podium during three of the last four races. The Mexican driver also claimed victory here last season which should boost his confidence even further.
