For the third weekend in succession, Formula One is here, as the action gets under way at the 2023 Brazilian Grand Prix in São Paulo.

As well as being the third to last race of the year, with Las Vegas and Abu Dhabi to follow, this weekend will also see the sixth and final Sprint race of the season take place – with extra points up for grabs for all the drivers and teams.

Max Verstappen will head into this one after breaking the record for most race victories in an F1 season, with the win last time out in Mexico City. The Dutchman dominated, despite not taking pole position again, to make it 16 chequered flagged finishes this year overall.

Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton is seemingly beginning to close the gap, though. The decorated Brit finished just one second behind Verstappen in the US before later being disqualified but backed that up with a P2 finish last weekend.

McLaren pair Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri also remain in the hunt for a first win this year, while Ferrari duo Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc gave a fairly strong showing in Mexico last time out. Sergio Perez will also be desperate to impress for Red Bull after crashing out of his home race.
