AFC Leopards head coach Stewart Hall has admitted that his side ‘did not play well’ against Sofapaka at Machakos County Stadium on Wednesday.
Their former player Charles Okwemba utilized a second-half chance to score a lone goal which saw Ingwe walk home bare handed.
Speaking to Goal after the match, the Englishman explained that his team is made up of young players, who are still learning ‘a lot of things’ and that the Sofapaka defeat opened their eyes.
"We are building a team; you know it’s a young team so sometimes you learn a lot from defeat. So we have to learn from today’s (Wednesday) defeat because we did not play very well."
The result saw AFC Leopards drop two places down to occupy the fourth position on the Kenyan Premier League's log. They will play against Posta Rangers in their next match.
