Sofapaka head coach Sam Ssimbwa is optimistic that his side will overcome defending champions Tusker when they meet on Sunday at Thika Sub-county Stadium as from 2:00pm.
The Batoto ba Mungu are fresh from securing a financial sponsor and from beating Mathare United just to explain how they are psyched up ahead of the Tusker match.
However, Ssimbwa is aware of the fact that Tusker are defending their title, but that does not dilute his intention to collect maximum points.
"Yes, I know we are playing defending champions and they won last weekend however my team will play a good game. We respect them but we don't fear them and all in all my team will be playing for a win,” he told the club’s official website.
Sofapaka beat the Brewers 2-0 in pre-season preparations and only time will tell if the result can be replicated on the league match.
