Mathare United have confirmed the signing of former Western Stima goalkeeper Levis Opiyo on a one year deal.

The keeper was released from Stima after the end of season 2016 and he has found yet another home in the country’s top flight after he had stints with Posta Rangers and Thika United as well.

He will now compete against former AFC Leopards goalie Wycliffe Kasaya for Francis Kimanzi’s first choice following the departure of Robert Mboya who decamped to the newly promoted side Kariobangi Sharks.
