Mathare United have confirmed the signing of rookie striker Chris Ochieng’.

Ochieng’ has been recruited after successful trials conducted at the club’s training centre two weeks ago.

He has expressed is delight in penning the three-year deal with the Francis Kimanzi coached outfit promising to finish among the top scorers in the league.

"It's an honor to have signed for Mathare United after undergoing fair trials for two weeks. All along I was confident that I would make it and I thank God that I have come this far. The training sessions have been professional so far and I want to work hard to break into the team. My target is to be the top scorer by the end of the first leg," he told the club's official facebok account.

He becomes the second player to be signed by the 'Slum Boys' after capturing former Western Stima goalkeeper Levis Opiyo. The striker has not had premier league experience only counting his 2014 stint with National Super League side Nairobi Stima.
