Former Gor Mahia defender Eric ‘Marcelo’ Ouma has been criticized in his move to Europe from K’Ogalo.

The defender joined Georgian Premier League side Kolkheti in January for three years after parting ways with the Green Army but former international defender Tobias ‘Jua Kali’ Ochola feels that the player made the move in haste.

He explains that football career does not require players to make decisions which leave sour taste to their previous clubs terming that dangerous towards one’s development.

“I’m not against Eric Ouma’s move to Georgia but my concern is on his relationship with Gor Mahia as at now. I’m very sure that he never wanted Gor Mahia to know about his new deal but such kind of things creates disrespect and might hurt a player’s career in future. I think he should have been a bit patient before moving away from K’Ogalo,” he told Goal.

Tusker FC midfielder Luis Tera has also joined the youngster at the same club after being part of Brewers’ glory in 2016.
