And there it is! Colombia are through to the knockout stages as group winners, despite losing their first game, but Senegal become the first team to exit the World Cup on fair play, being level with Japan on points, goal difference, head-to-head and goals scored, but their greater number of yellow cards accumulated sends them crashing out of the competition! VAR correctly denied them a penalty in the first half, before Mina thumped a downward header off the turf and into the net to win the game - and the group - in dramatic fashion for Colombia!

FULL-TIME: SENEGAL 0-1 COLOMBIA

90+4mins: Senegal are desperate now, chucking bodies forward, but they just can't find the pass to create that final chance to haul themselves back into the game. Japan have lost 1-0 to Poland, and they anxiously await the final whistle in this game.

90+2mins: Colombia have the ball in the left corner and look to craft an attack, but it's all too flashy and Senegal win it back and break quickly, but can only muster a half-chance.

90 mins: There will be FOUR minutes of added time here. Is there time for one last goal for either side?

89 mins: Substitution Radamel Falcao García Zárate Miguel Ángel Borja Hernández

87 mins: Colombia have a chance to break quickly as they clear the free-kick, but the final ball is never incisive enough and the attack breaks down.

86 mins: Muriel pulls Gassama back as the right-back surges past him with a turn of pace, and Senegal have an opportunity to lump the ball into the box.

85 mins: Niang is replaced by former West Ham striker Sakho in a last-ditch attempt to find an equaliser and pinch qualification.

84 mins: Mane fouls Mina as the Barcelona centre-half jumps to win an aerial ball. The tension is palpable now.

83 mins: Uribe makes way for Levante's Lerma in the centre of midfield and Pekerman tries to hold onto this lead and top spot in the group.

82 mins:  CHANCE! Carlos Sanchez's attempt at a tackle sends the ball skewing in behind for Konate, but Ospina gets there first and hangs onto the ball!

80 mins:  MISS! Mane whips a beautiful ball from the left to the back post on the right, where Sarr swings his weaker right foot at the ball in an attempt tp lash home a volleyed equaliser, but he shanks it completely! Awful effort, and Senegal heads are in hands here.

79 mins: Keita comes off for Konate - a striker - as Cisse desperately tries to get his side a goal.

77 mins: SAVE! Mane slips Niang through down the right side of the box and he lashes an effort at goal that Ospina stops well, tipping the strike over the bar!

Colombia v Senegal

75 mins:  GOALLL!!!!! MINA SCORES FOR COLOMBIA! It's 1-0! Mina attacks the resulting corner with real power and heads it into the ground and back up into the net, despite the goalkeeper getting a hand to it! As things stand, Senegal are going home on fair play! Suddenly they need a goal!

Quintero's cross from the corner was excellent, and Mina showed great desire and strength to attack it and power the ball home!

74 mins: Sabaly has to be replaced by a right-back in Wague, who races into the box before the corner is taken.

73 mins:  Cuadrado has an opportunity to take Keita on one-on-one after some slick passing around the Senegal area, but Keita does superbly to block the cross!

71 mins: Sabaly goes down following a challenge with Falcao, and hobbles to the sidelines. It looks like he is going to have to come off.

69 mins:  Cuadrado whips an enticing cross into the box, but Sane deflects it goalwards and N'Diaye gathers well! That delivery had the Senegalese defence scrambling!

67 mins:  Muriel tries to dart into the box as he chases a bouncing ball, but N'Diaye comes flying off his line and makes a superb tackle to clear the danger! That was a quality sliding challenge from the goalkeeper there!

65 mins: CHANCE! Colombia win a free-kick of their own on the right flank and the delivery causes all sorts of problems in the box, before deflecting out to Uribe, whose powerful low drive is deflected wide of the target! That looked to be sneaking in!

63 mins:  MISS! Mane slips as he strikes the ball and scuffs it well wide! The Liverpool forward looks perplexed as he sits on the turf.

62 mins:  Mane goes on a driving run and draws a foul well, winning a free-kick in a dangerous position. Mane stands over it menacingly.

60 mins: Poland have scored in the other game, meaning that, as things stand, a draw sends both these sides through! The crowd roar as the news filters through.

58 mins:  Arias concedes a free-kick just behind the halfway line, but the ball that's lumped in is cleared out well. Colombia still struggling to get a foothold in the game.

56 mins:  Sarr shows incredible pace to race past Davinson Sanchez and fizz a low ball into the box, but a defender's heel just about clips it clear of Mane, who was lurking on the penalty spot!

55 mins: Mojica whips in a superb cross towards Falcao at the back post, but's headed away! Fantastic clearance there!

53 mins:  Sarr skips past Carlos Sanchez, and the Colombian clips him, sending the winger tumbling to the floor, but the referee waves play on as Falcao switches the play well to Cuadrado on the right, but it comes to nothing as he's crowded out.

51 mins: Niang picks up the first yellow card for Senegal after a poor challenge.

50 mins:  Muriel sees some space down the left and charges forward with the ball, but he runs into Gassama, who stands his ground well.

49 mins:  Colombia still can't play it out from the back under pressure from Senegal, who aren't giving them an inch.

47 mins:  A good-looking ball over the top for Cuadrado on the right is just too heavy for the winger, who can only chase it out of play.

46 mins:  And Colombia gets the second half underway as they look to save their World Cup!

It's 0-0 at the end of the first half here, and Colombia have underperformed so far. Their star man Rodriguez had to be replaced after just half an hour by Muriel, and Senegal's relentless pressure and work-rate has given their opponents no time to work with, while creating chances for themselves. They were almost awarded a penalty for a last-ditch challenge by Davinson Sanchez on Mane in the box, but VAR showed that the defender got the ball.

Colombia need to step their game up in the second half, because as things stand, they are exiting the tournament. Japan and Poland are also locked at 0-0, meaning the South Americans need a win to qualify for the knockout stages. This result favours Senegal, but they look the more likely to score and win this game, rather than settling for the draw, although it remains to be seen if they can mantain their incredible work-rate throughout the second period.

HALF-TIME: SENEGAL 0-0 COLOMBIA

45+2 mins:  Cuadrado races down the touchline onto an excellent long ball from the back, but Koulibaly beats him to it with outstanding athleticism and clears away for a throw-in.

45 mins:  Left-back Mojica picks up the first yellow card of game for a late challenge.

42 mins:  Senegal press forward, but Kouyate's final ball lets him down, and runs straight through to Ospina.

40 mins:  Colombia haven't found their groove so far in this half, and Senegal have looked a fitter, more tenacious side, and haven't given those in yellow time to display their quality.

38 mins:  Mojica goes down after stretching to challenge Mane, but after some treatment, he clambers to his feet and tries to run it off.

37 mins:  MISS! Senegal try a different approach with their free-kick, rolling the ball out to Sane to strike from distance, but it's an awful effort, and he slices it high and wide of the target. Not sure why he's on set-piece duty in all honesty.

35 mins:  Quintero lofts a free-kick forward from deep and N'Diaye comes out well to claim it, but initally fumbles his catch, before gathering at the second attempt.

33 mins:  Arias and Mane commit a foul each in quick succession as the game goes through a slightly scrappy period.

James Rodriguez

31 mins:  Incredibly, Rodriguez is the man to be replaced, and he looks incredibly dejected as he trudges off the pitch and heads straight down the tunnel. His injury must be hindering him, and the Golden Boot winner of the 2014 World Cup departs his country's crunch fixture. Muriel comes on.

30 mins:  It appears as though Pekerman is intending to make a substitution before half-time here, with Muriel warming up and ready to come on.

28 mins:  Sarr cuts in from the right and has an ambitious drive at goal following some slick attacking play, but the shot is tame and simply rolls towards goal for Ospina to collect.

27 mins:  SAVE! Senegal are piling pressure on their opponents here, and Keita cuts inside form the left and curls a shot towards the far corner, but Ospina gets his body behind it to make the stop.

25 mins: MISS! Quintero lofts a wonderful ball into the box from a free-kick, but Falcao, having evaded his marker and found space, somehow heads over the top of the crossbar! The flag goes up for offside anyway, but the striker wasn't to know that when the chance came to him!

23 mins: Keita drives down the left, cuts inside and tries to curl a wicked cross towards the back post, but it's too high and sails over everyone.

22 mins:  Despite not being awarded that penalty, Senegal seem to have been sparked into life here, and are certainly in the ascendancy at the moment.

20 mins:  Mina concedes a free-kick for a late challenge on Keita, but there's no card, and the ball into the box is dealt with comfortably.

18 mins:  OVERTURNED! NO PENALTY! Following the VAR check, it's clear that the centre-half won the ball, and the referee has reversed his decision! That's the right decision, and that's why VAR has been introduced.

16 mins:  PENALTY! Mane gets in behind after a brilliant passing move by Senegal, but Davinson Sanchez slides in and brings him down inside the box! The referee initially gives the penalty, but goes to check with VAR.

15 mins:  Colombia have settled well into possession here, and are beginning to control the game.

13 mins: The resulting inswinging corner looks dangerous, but it's scrambled clear and the whistle goes for a foul on the goalkeeper.

12 mins:  SAVE! Quintero whips a free-kick from 20 yards or so low to the goalkeeper's side, but N'Diaye gets down well to make the save, tipping it round the post!

10 mins:  Niang gets in behind as the game begins to get stretched, but the Colombia defence gets back well to force him wide, and his eventual cross towards Mane is cleared away easily.

9 mins:  Senegal win a free-kick on the left side of the Colombia penalty area, but it's well-defended and headed clear. Mojica then gets clear down the left and tries to cross, but it's deflected behind.

7 mins:  Davinson Sanchez tries to switch the ball out to the right-back, but it's overhit and behind its target and sails straight out for a throw-in.

5 mins:  It appears Senegal have settled into a 4-4-2 formation here, with Mane playing just off Niang up front.

3 mins:  It's a little bit back and forth so far here. Neither side has been able to assert themselves on the game early on.

And we're underway! Senegal get the game going at the start of this first half!

4 mins until KO : The national anthems are underway, and they are being sung with real gusto! The passion is palpable ahead of this crunch game!

6 mins until KO:  Senegal have faced South American opponents just once before in the World Cup, drawing 3-3 in the final group stage game of 2002 against Uruguay.

8 mins until KO:  And Colombia, despite their opening-day defeat, look in efficient goalscoring form, having scored four goals from seven shots on target at the 2018 World Cup, scoring with just four on target in their 3-0 win over Poland.

10 mins until KO:  Senegal and Colombia have faced each other just once before, in an entertaining friendly in May 2014, with Colombia taking a 2-0 lead into half-time, only to concede two goals in the second half.

That result would suit Senegal, but Colombia need a win to secure qualification, although a draw would send them through if Japan lose to Poland in the other game.

15 mins until KO : Jose Pekerman makes two changes to his Colombia side, despite their comfortable 3-0 win over Poland in their last match. He changes the base of his midfield, reinstating Carlos Sanchez following his early red card in the opening fixture, and bringing in Uribe alongside him. Barrios and Aguilar drop out despite their impressive performances.

20 mins until KO: Senegal head coach Aliou Cisse surprisingly makes three changes to the side that drew 2-2 against Japan last time out, despite still needing at least a draw to secure qualifcation. Wague, N'Diaye and Ndiaye drop out for Gassama, Kouyate and Keita take their places in the line-up in an attacking change.

25 mins until KO:  Colombia XI (4-2-3-1): David Ospina; Johan Mojica, Davinson Sanchez, Yerry Mina, Santiago Arias; Mateus Uribe, Carlos Sanchez; Juan Quintero, James Rodriguez, Juan Cuadrado; Radamel Falcao.

Colombia substitutes: Farid Diaz, Wilmar Barrios, Luis Muriel, Oscar Murillo, Cristian Zapata, Jefferson Lerma, Camilo Vargas, Carlos Bacca, Jose Izquierdo, Jose Cuadrado, Miguel Borja

30 mins until KO:  The line-ups have been announced, and we'll start with Senegal.

Senegal XI (4-2-3-1): Khadim N'Diaye; Youssouf Sabaly, Kalidou Koulibaly, Salif Sane, Lamine Gassama; Idrissa Gueye, Cheikhou Kouyate; Ismaila Sarr, Sadio Mane, Keita Balde; M'Baye Niang.

Senegal substitutes: Cheikh N'Doye, Diafra Sakho, Alfred N'Diaye, Moussa Sow, Moussa Wague, Abdoulaye Diallo, Mame Biram Diouf, Alfred Gomis, Kara, Badou Ndiaye, Adama Mbengue, Moussa Konate.
