The stage is set for the World Cup final as Croatia and France will compete to lift the golden trophy Sunday in Moscow.
Once it was clear on Wednesday that Croatia would face Les Bleus, the odds to win the World Cup final clearly favored France.

France, which last made a World Cup final appearance in 2006, and actually won the whole thing in 1998, is currently listed as the favorite at -220 (bet $220 to win $100), according to Bovada.
Croatia, whose World Cup highlight involved making the semifinals in 1998, has surprised experts with how far they've made it in the tournament, especially considering every knockout stage game they've been involved in has gone at least 120 minutes long. The underdogs are listed at +190 (bet $100 to win $190) to win outright.
Conventional wisdom, as well as the odds, dictates that France should win on Sunday. But as unpredictable as this tournament has been, especially when Croatia has been involved, conventional wisdom has gone out the window. England was supposed to outpace the tired legs of Croatia, remember?
