It's not easy for a player to score a hat trick. Scoring a hat trick of hat trick's? That's almost unheard of. Almost.
Norway defeated Honduras in today's FIFA U-20 World Cup 12-0, and striker Erling Braut Håland set a competition record, scoring nine of the 12 goals on the night.

This just happened at the #U20WC 😳
The Honduran team had as many players on the field as Håland scored goals due to a pair of red cards, and it just couldn't hold the Red Bull Salzburg forward from a historic scoring display.
I don't know the term for scoring 10 goals in a game, but Norway's Erling Haland is one goal away from hitting double figures. Honduras playing with nine men it should be noted. https://t.co/fNzzbBpcUc

The 18-year-old had his hat trick plus one before the first half ended, but it was his seventh goal that broke him the FIFA record.

🇳🇴 Norway’s Erling Haland breaks the record for most goals scored in a FIFA U-20 World Cup match, scoring seven past Honduras in Lublin.#U20WC pic.twitter.com/TYD5fcfioV
The 12-nil victory is the record for largest margin of victory at the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Honduras was eliminated in the rout, and despite the stunning victory, Norway has yet to advance to the knockout rounds after losing its first two group-stage matches.
This happened because of the tourney format—the top two teams in each group advance, as do the third-place teams with the best goal differential. Norway lost its first two games and couldn’t finish top two in their group, so they ran up the score.

Whatever Norway's fate, Håland's night surely ended on triple high.
