The Kenyan Drake trade helps our Week 9 Yahoo daily fantasy football GPP lineup picks. We got Mark Walton at a great value, and he might not be too popular in NFL DFS circles simply because he's on the Dolphins. The excitement factor doesn't really increase with our Derek Carr stack with Tyrell Williams, but I promise it gets better. You also get to play Nick Chubb, Tyler Lockett and Chris Godwin -- and we try and take advantage of the Dolphins with boom-or-bust WR selection Robby Anderson.

Last week's lineup finished about average. Trusting Ryan Tannehill to deliver for Corey Davis two weeks in a row didn't pay off, and neither did counting on another big workload from Josh Jacobs. Cooper Kupp and DeAndre Hopkins were both good picks, but that's not surprising. Whiffing on Davis and Ricky Seals-Jones as our two main sleepers, along with relying on Buffalo's passing game on a windy day, were the bigger flaws. We'll try to avoid those misses in Week 9.

WEEK 9 NON-PPR RANKINGS:

NFL DFS Week 9: Yahoo GPP Lineup Picks

QB Derek Carr, Raiders vs. Lions ($27). We'll count on Carr, coming off a three-TD game, continuing to look solid against a Lions defense that made Daniel Jones look much better than a struggling rookie QB.

WEEK 9 DFS LINEUPS:
Y! cash | DK cash | DK GPP | FD cash | FD GPP

RB Mark Walton, Dolphins vs. Jets ($15). With Kenyan Drake out of town, this is now Walton's job. Even in Miami, 15 touches is 15 touches, and so we'll take a chance that Walton's 15 touches can return value on his $15 price tag in a favorable matchup.

WEEK 9 PPR RANKINGS: Running backWide receiver | Tight end

RB Nick Chubb, Browns @ Broncos ($31). Chubb even ran well against the Patriots despite Baker Mayfield not posing much of a threat. At this point, Chubb is a great play in any format in any week, and we've seen the Broncos give up huge games to RBs this season.

WR Tyrell Williams, Raiders vs. Lions ($20). Carr and Williams connected for a touchdown again in Week 8 after Williams returned from a multi-week layoff. Darius Slay's status matters on the outside here, but this is still the best GPP stack with Carr regardless.

WEEK 9: Waiver wire | FAAB planner | Trade valuesSnap counts

WR Robby Anderson, Jets @ Dolphins ($17). Anderson is a classic boom-or-bust wideout, so we'll give him a shot to surge us up a GPP leaderboard with a long score against the winless Dolphins.

WR Tyler Lockett, Seahawks vs. Buccaneers ($28). Tampa Bay's pass defense is bad. Russell Wilson and Lockett's connection is really good. Ownership won't be super low or anything, but I'm buying that Lockett will have a big game that we want in our lineup.

TE Jonnu Smith, Titans @ Panthers ($12). Regardless of Delanie Walker's status, I think it'll be Smith leading the Titans' TEs in relevant stats in Week 9. At such a value, it won't take much for us to benefit from paying down at TE.

MORE WEEK 9 DFS: Stacks | Values | Lineup builder

FLEX Chris Godwin, Buccaneers @ Seahawks ($29). How do you decide between Godwin and Mike Evans? For me, I figured the more consistent Godwin is more likely to help Tampa keep up with Lockett and the Seahawks.

D/ST Philadelphia Eagles vs. Bears ($14). Philly's weakness is against the pass, but this is a bet that they'll manage just fine against Mitchell Trubisky, allowing them to take advantage of the couple mistakes he's bound to make Sunday.
