Yahoo NFL DFS Picks Week 7: Daily fantasy football lineup advice for GPP tournaments image

On the bright side, this week's lineup can't really be worse than last week's. Minshew Mania let us down, as did Cooper Kupp and DJ Chark. Nick Chubb saved us from having the worst fantasy day ever, as did Damien Williams' receiving touchdown, but I'm still not sure why Williams' usage was so much lower than the week before. When Dalvin Cook was your second-highest scorer with 12.4 points, you know things went poorly. My Week 7 DFS picks for Yahoo GPPs hope to remedy that as we try to find our way back toward the top of tournaments.

This week, we're really counting on the 49ers to control the game against the Redskins, which shouldn't be a tough ask for undefeated San Francisco. Hopefully by stacking Jimmy Garoppolo with Tevin Coleman, we nail each of San Francisco's scores, and Dante Pettis is very underpriced at WR to complete a Niners trio. I've surrounded them with players who all feel like they shouldn't bust -- but as last week showed me, anything can happen.

WEEK 7 NON-PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

NFL DFS Week 7: Yahoo GPP Lineup Picks

QB Jimmy Garoppolo, 49ers @ Redskins ($30). The Redskins have been shredded through the air in 2019, and those numbers looked even worse prior to generally handling Miami in Week 6. But you could see even Ryan Fitzpatrick posed a threat against Washington's secondary. Garoppolo shouldn't just be a threat, he should dominate.

RB Tevin Coleman, 49ers @ Redskins ($21). I'm not a huge fan of QB/RB stacks, but it feels like this game presents enough points that with Coleman as the goal-line back, we might have a hand in every San Francisco touchdown and make this pairing worthwhile.

WEEK 7 PPR RANKINGS: Running backWide receiver | Tight end

RB David Johnson, Cardinals @ Giants ($23). Johnson's back looked fine in Week 6, including when he landed on it to make what turned out to be the game-winning touchdown catch. The Giants have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to running backs, including the third-most receiving yards to backs, so Johnson should have a big day.

WR Dante Pettis, 49ers @ Redskins ($11). Pettis finally looks like the No. 1 WR in San Francisco that we expected in the preseason. He was second to just George Kittle in Week 6 targets for the 49ers, but he's the third-most expensive San Francisco WR on this slate. That makes him an obvious value to pair with Jimmy G.

WEEK 7: Waiver pickups | FAAB planner | Trade valuesSnap counts

WR Michael Gallup, Cowboys vs. Eagles ($26). This play should hit whether Amari Cooper plays or not. The Eagles' secondary just allowed a combined four receiving touchdowns to Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs, and they should provide a good bounce-back opportunity for Dallas.

WR Tyler Lockett, Seahawks vs. Ravens ($24). This game screams shootout, and Russell Wilson should lean on his top slot target for production. Lockett has either four or five catches in each of the past three weeks, so he's due for a double-digit reception game like the ones he had in Weeks 2 and 3.

WEEK 7 DFS LINEUPS:
Y! cash | Y! GPP | DK cash | DK GPPFD cash | FD GPP

TE Gerald Everett, Rams @ Falcons ($13). The whole Rams' passing game disappointed in Week 6, but Everett is looking at a piece of a bounce-back outing against a brutal Falcons' secondary. At this price, he doesn't need a huge game, but he's shown he's capable of one.

MORE WEEK 7 DFS: Stacks | Values | Lineup Builder

FLEX Saquon Barkley, Giants vs. Cardinals ($35). This obviously is subject to change if Saquon remains out with his ankle sprain. But it looks like he should be back, and the Cardinals are a league-average defense against running back fantasy points, with that ranking being helped by a lack of touchdowns. Barkley knows how to find the end zone.

D/ST Chicago Bears vs. Saints ($17). The Bears are $5 off the top priced D/ST for this slate, and despite a rough week against the Raiders in London in Week 5, they should generally handle Teddy Bridgewater and company coming off a bye for this one.
