Usually, you think of good fantasy PPR receivers as being consistent. Danny Amendola missed that memo in 2019. He entered Sunday having surpassed 100 yards in a game twice this season, but he'd also thrown up some duds. Then he went out and caught eight passes for 95 yards. At this point, he slot him as borderline starter in our Week 9 WR PPR rankings, but it's not like he's a sleeper -- there just isn't a strong indicator of when his good games are coming (although maybe the injury to Kerryon Johnson means he'll be more consistently involved in the Lions' offense going forward).
Paired right with Amendola in our PPR rankings is Cole Beasley, who rose up right along with Amendola from our standard rankings. Beasley has a great Week 9 matchup against the Redskins, and he's caught touchdowns in two straight weeks. That's the other thing -- some of our favorite PPR receivers generally don't produce a lot of touchdowns. So, is Beasley fools gold, or will his receptions keep him relevant? We'd lean toward the latter, at least in a Week 9 matchup with Washington.
WEEK 9 NON-PPR RANKINGS:

We'd be remiss to ignore one of this week's biggest riser from our standard rankings to our PPR rankings: Jamison Crowder. The Jets travel to Miami to play the winless Dolphins in Week 9. We've seen how good a matchup that can be. Sure, you can be concerned most weeks that Sam Darnold isn't necessarily consistent enough to trust his WRs. This is not that week. Crowder should start in every full-point PPR league and probably most 0.5-point PPR leagues, too. In a game that New York should control, Crowder could see double-digit targets and better touchdown probability than he's had in most games this season.
WEEK 9 PPR RANKINGS: Running back | Tight end
You can also count on Crowder's Jets teammates, Robby Anderson and Demaryius Thomas, but to a lesser extent because their reception totals will probably be lower. Both are more big-play/touchdown dependent.

We also got to see Emmanuel Sanders' first usage in a San Francisco uniform in Week 8. A classic PPR weapon, Sanders caught an early touchdown but wasn't needed much late in a blowout. He was on the field right from the outset, though, and you should have no doubts about using him on Thursday Night Football against the Cardinals.
