Week 8 Fantasy TE PPR Rankings: Must-starts, sleepers, potential busts at tight end image

Whenever you're getting a pass-catcher back who ranks in the top 10 in total targets at his position, it's good news in PPR leagues. That's exactly what's happening in our Week 8 fantasy TE PPR rankings, as Mark Andrews is returning to action. After being idle last week along with Mike Gesicki, Trey Burton, and Irv Smith Jr., Andrews strengthens what looks to be one of the deepest eidtions of tight end rankings we've had in a while.

The tight ends on bye this week include Darren Fells, Logan Thomas, Tyler Eifert, and Dan Arnold. Of the bunch, only Fells and Thomas have been worthwhile PPR streamers this year -- Thomas because he ranks eighth among TEs in targets per game (6), and Fells because he is emerging as a TD threat.

WEEK 8 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

That said, the return of Andrews (5.5 targets per game) and Burton (5.3 targets per game) will provide a boost for PPR owners. Andrews owners will get to fire up their stud as a top-five play, while Burton will return and bolster the streaming ranks as he becomes increasingly involved in the Colts' offense.

WEEK 8 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | D/ST | Kicker

Other streaming options include Dalton Schultz (six targets per game) and Dallas Goedert (averaged 8.5 targets in his two full games), who play each other. Cleveland's Harrison Bryant could end up being a sneaky high-volume play for the Browns against the Raiders, but his status will depend on the health of Austin Hooper (appendicitis). Jimmy Graham (vs. Saints) is also a high-upside streamer against a Saints defense allowing the most fantasy points per game to TEs.

Evan Engram (vs. Buccaneers) and Eric Ebron (@ Ravens) both have fairly tough matchups and have disappointed overall this year, but both get slight boosts in PPR leagues because of their relatively frequent targets. The aforementioned streamers would all be better plays, but if you can't pick up any of them, you can live with one of the "Double Es."
