Week 4 DraftKings Picks: Best lineup stacks for NFL DFS tournaments, cash games image

Just like basically every other article on this site in Week 4, Daniel Jones is prominently involved. He's a key part of our NFL DFS stacking strategy for DraftKings cash games, and there's a rookie on the other side of that game that should also be part of your daily fantasy football tournament picks, as Terry McLaurin will look to extend his scoring streak with a surprisingly effective Case Keenum.

Last week's Dak Prescott/Ezekiel Elliott stack against the Dolphins did well, but it would've worked out better if Zeke could've actually scored. At least we came away feeling very good about stacking Jameis Winston and Mike Evans after Evans had a monster first half.

Week 4 NFL DFS Picks: Top DraftKings stacks for cash games

QB Russell Wilson, WR Tyler Lockett, and TE Will Dissly, Seattle Seahawks @ Cardinals

Wilson was a garbage-time hero for fantasy owners last week, throwing for over 400 yards with four total touchdowns. While I normally try to fade players coming off big weeks, this is too good a matchup and game environment for Wilson. Expect him to be one of the most popular quarterback plays on the slate, but he is by far the best high-end value at the position.

The top pairing option with Wilson is his Lockett. The Cardinals have one of the worst groups of corners in the league while Patrick Peterson is still suspended, and while Lockett probably won't equal last week's volume (14 targets), he should still approach or surpass double-digit looks.

The Cardinals currently rank 28th in DvP against wide receivers, and Seattle will likely look to lean on their passing game with Chris Carson having fumbling issues and fellow running back Rashad Penny struggling with a hamstring injury. Lockett, like Wilson, will be a chalky option, but the matchup, price tag, and projected volume will work well in cash games.

I don't like playing a triple stack in cash games on most weeks, but this week is an exception with Will Dissly completing the Seahawks stack. Dissly has been one of the most surprising players in the league this season, and he has 12 targets and three touchdowns over the past two weeks. Arizona has been lit up by TJ Hockenson (6/131/1), Mark Andrews (8/112/1), and there's no reason to expect that to change significantly this week.

QB Daniel Jones and WR Sterling Shepard, New York Giants vs. Redskins

Jones mania has hit New York after the rookie led the Giants to an improbable come-from-behind victory last week at Tampa. The hype around Jones is only going to build this week, and he is likely to be a popular cash game play at his modest price point around the industry in a plus-matchup against the Redskins at home. Not only did Jones look good passing, but he also showed some nice rushing upside with two rushing touchdowns last week. With Saquon Barkley (ankle) out of the lineup for the next few weeks, Jones will have even more pressure put on his shoulders, and the Giants will likely be forced into becoming a pass-first team. Obviously I don't see Jones having consistent 30-plus fantasy point upside like we saw last week, but he should be able to more than pay off his $5,300 price tag on DraftKings against a Washington defense that ranks 30th DvP against quarterbacks.

I don't hate the idea of playing Jones by himself in a cash game lineup with his rushing ability and low price point, but if you do want to stack him with one of his pass-catchers, then Shepard or TE Evan Engram are the clear best options. I love Engram this week, but I'm looking to spend down at the tight end position in cash games with Dissly, so Shepard gets the nod. Shepard returned to the lineup last week against the Bucs and put up a great 7/100/1 line on nine targets. He has a solid shot at another good outing this week against a horrendous Washington pass defense. The Redskins rank dead last in fantasy points allowed to wide receivers, and former top corner Josh Norman looks like a shell of his former self and is someone we should pick on for the rest of the season.

WEEK 4 NON-PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

Week 4 DraftKings Picks: Best stacks for daily fantasy football GPPs/tournaments

QB Case Keenum and WR Terry McLaurin, Washington Redskins @ Giants

The other side of the Giants-Redskins also offers us some nice stacking options, and this game could be the key to taking down a GPP. The total is set at 49 with both teams having bad defenses, especially against the pass. While I like the Giants side of the game in cash games, the Redskins side of the ball offers even more value based on price.

Keenum had ups-and-downs on Monday night, but I'm willing to overlook that performance based on the fact that he was playing the Bears. The matchup with the Giants is probably the softest matchup that a quarterback can face, and he's in a nice bounce-back spot at a price of only $4,900 on DraftKings. Keenum has posted over 3x value at that price in all three of his games this season against the Eagles, Cowboys, and Bears.

The stacking choice for Keenum is Redskins' top wide receiver and breakout rookie McLaurin. The former Ohio State pass-catcher has looked explosive in his first NFL season, and his price has not come up enough given the production that he has shown thus far. The Giants like to play man-to-man defense, which means that McLaurin will be matched up with CB Janoris Jenkins, who, similar to Josh Norman, looks like a shell of his former self. This stack is also cheap enough to allow you to play virtually anyone else in your lineup that you would like.

WEEK 4 PPR RANKINGS: Running back | Wide receiverTight end

QB Jared Goff and WR Brandin Cooks, Los Angeles Rams vs. Buccaneers

Goff has been disappointing this season, but you have to love the spot that he finds himself in this week against the Buccaneers at home. While Tampa's defense has been better this season, especially against the run, their pass defense still leaves a lot to be desired. Goff has massive home/road splits, with a plus-minus of plus-eight over his past 10 home starts. After his slow start to the season, you have to project Goff to have low ownership at the QB position, but he has legitimate 35-plus fantasy point upside in this matchup.

You can stack Goff with any of his three top pass-catchers, but for tournaments, I'm going with Cooks. While Cooks has yet to really have a ceiling-type game, he has been close, and Goff continues to take shots down the field to him multiple times per game. Cooks also has similar home/road splits as Goff, with a plus-minus of plus-5.8 over his past 10 starts at home. I expect most of the ownership in this game to go toward Cooper Kupp after his big performance last Sunday night, which makes Cooks -- who has just as much, if not more, upside -- one of the best leverage plays on the slate.

There's plenty of strategy that goes into putting together a winning DFS lineup, and the best place to start is RotoQL’s DFS tools. RotoQL's Lineup Optimizer is a massive advantage when you're building lineups, regardless of contest size or site.
