Week 3 fantasy football rankings, D/ST: Seahawks...vs. Clausen...in Seattle?? image

The Seahawks are back atop the fantasy football D/ST rankings for Week 3 despite allowing 61 points with no interceptions through the first two games, and it's hard to argue against them. They'll be facing a Bears offense piloted by Jimmy Clausen in Seattle. That's a disaster waiting to happen.

There are a few intriguing matchups this week, but fantasy football owners are being reminded that it's tough to "stream" D/STs and expect big points every week. Just ask those who tried the Browns against the Jets in Week 1, only to ditch Cleveland in Week 2 for its opponent, the Titans D/ST. Doh and doh. Let's take a look at the full fantasy defense/special teams rankings for Week 3 to identify some sleepers and busts.

Fantasy football rankings, Week 3, D/ST

1. Seahawks vs. Bears. Jimmy Pickles in Seattle? Yes, please!

2. Texans vs. Bucs. Jameis Winston looked better in Week 2, but there's big time turnover potential for the Texans D/ST against the rookie in Houston.

3. Dolphins vs. Bills. One sack through two games? It has to get better. We're not scared of the Bills offense.

4. Patriots vs. Jaguars. It's a good matchup against an inexperienced offense, and the Patriots lead the league with 11 sacks and four picks (tied). Watch out, Bortles.

5. Cardinals vs. 49ers. Always love the Cardinals' playmakers at home in the desert.

6. Bills at Dolphins. The Bills D/ST is off to a slow start, but so is the Miami offense.

7. Eagles at Jets. The Eagles offense is putting the D back on the field too quickly, but they've responded well and get a plus matchup this week. The loss of Kiko Alonso hurts, though.

8. Panthers vs. Saints. The Saints are suddenly a very easy offense to pick on, especially if Luke Kuechly (concussion) is back and especially if Drew Brees (shoulder) is out.

9. Rams vs. Steelers. Love the Rams D/ST, hate the matchup with Le'Veon Bell returning.

10. Broncos at Lions. The Broncos have allowed just 25 points through two games, and you know Matt Stafford is good for some bone-headed plays against this pass rush.

11. Lions vs. Broncos. This isn't the Broncos offense we're used to fearing.

12. Browns vs. Raiders. Another good matchup for the Browns to exploit, but be warned: Oakland dropped 37 points on the Ravens last week.

13. Ravens vs. Bengals. The Ravens D/ST is much less attractive without Terrell Suggs.
