Week 17 Fantasy TE Rankings: Tyler Higbee, Austin Hooper's matchups make great 'starts' image

Leave it to the Week 17 fantasy TE rankings to still be boring. It's been the least volatile position all season, and those fantasy football owners who play in the NFL's final regular season week are not catching any sort of excitement here. By this point, there's almost no chance you've made your final without a solid TE, so odds are you won't be looking to the waiver wire to stream anyone in this final week.

The biggest late-season revelation at the position remains Tyler Higbee. He's topped 100 yards in four-straight weeks, surely carrying you all the way to your title game. And it gets even better -- he takes on the Cardinals in Week 17. That's a dream matchup for Higbee, a player not many would've expected to win them fantasy championships but who now has a chance to.

WEEK 17 NON-PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiverD/ST | Kicker

Joining Higbee on the great matchup train is Austin Hooper, who's returned to health to contribute to his fantasy owners down the stretch and now faces Tampa Bay in Week 17. The matchup for Zach Ertz against the Giants is also one worth looking forward to after Dwayne Haskins threw all over New York in Week 16.

If you've gotten this far and need a stream, there's no need to fear -- the top target should be Dallas Goedert for the Eagles against the Giants. He had a huge Week 16 game, and with all the Philly WR injuries, Goedert is one of Carson Wentz's top targets. You could also target the athletic Jonnu Smith for Tennessee since the Titans have chosen to finally involve him enough to make him fantasy relevant. Other options include Noah Fant (vs. Raiders) and Kaden Smith (vs. Eagles), with Smith being a two-TD hero in Week 16.

WEEK 17 PPR RANKINGS:
Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end

One thing to look out for, as well: Mark Andrews could sit out Week 17. The Ravens have clinched the AFC's top seed and could choose to rest their studs. If Andrews sits, target one of the streams mentioned above (or Hayden Hurst in that case, who would be the biggest beneficiary of an Andrews absence).

(Update: Be on the lookout for Zach Ertz's status, as well, as he may be a true game-time decision Sunday. Dallas Goedert would be a strong TE1 if Ertz sits against the Giants.)
