Week 15 Fantasy QB Rankings: Jimmy Garoppolo, Ryan Tannehill on the rise

Week 15 Fantasy QB Rankings: Jimmy Garoppolo, Ryan Tannehill on the rise image

Iti seems like every other position is decimated by injuries right now, and while several quarterbacks are dealing with bumps and bruises (Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady, Jameis Winston), it's a fairly stable position in terms of health. As far as results, well, that's a different story. Our Week 15 fantasy QB rankings reflect that, with several late-season sleepers rising thanks to favorable matchups.

Ryan Tannehill (vs. Texans) is in the process of carrying teams to fantasy titles, which no one expected at even the midway point of the season. Winston (@ Lions) just keeps on chucking, and Jimmy Garoppolo (vs. ATL) has proven he can exploit bad pass defenses. Baker Mayfield (@ Cardinals) is also a big riser this week despite a disappointing Week 14. No defense allows more fantasy points to QBs than Arizona, so a bounce-back showing is in order.

WEEK 15 NON-PPR RANKINGS:
Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

We also like Brady (@ Bengals) and Ryan Fitzpatrick (@ Giants) to get back on track in favorable matchups, while Kyler Murray (vs. Browns) and Derek Carr (vs. Jaguars) loom at potential sleepers in favorable spots. Deciding on any of those four vs. Dak Prescott (vs. Rams), Aaron Rodgers (vs. Bears), Jared Goff (@ Cowboys), and Jacoby Brissett (@ Saints) won't be easy, as they all have pretty similar outlooks. If you throw in deeper sleepers in highly favorable matchups, like Gardner Minshew (@ Raiders), and Daniel Jones/Eli Manning (vs. Dolphins), it gets even more difficult. We'll even mention rookie Drew Lock (@ Chiefs) because of how well he's played, though we don't like that matchup nearly as much.

WEEK 15 DFS LINEUPS:
FD Cash | FD GPP | DK Cash | DK GPPY! Cash | Y! GPP

A couple QBs we don't like this week are Kirk Cousins (@ Chargers), Josh Allen (@ Steelers), and Matt Ryan (@ 49ers). Yes, the Niners were just shredded by Drew Brees, but that was in the Superdome. Ryan is typically worse on the road, and with Calvin Ridley (abdomen) banged up and Austin Hooper (knee) still not 100 percent, he might not have enough weapons to take advantage.

WEEK 15 PPR RANKINGS: Running back | Wide receiverTight end

Once again, it's a week with plenty of worthwhile options. After some owners were burned last week by benching Brees or even Philip Rivers, you can bet there will be a strong "stick-with-your-studs" sentiment this week. That's fine -- if you have the right studs. We generally recommend playing the matchups with proven QBs, so if there's someone available with a better matchup, don't be afraid to make a move.
