Week 13 Fantasy Flex Rankings

Week 13 of the fantasy football season is here, and with it comes the final two byes of the season. The Buccaneers and Panthers are both off in Week 13, and the unusually late byes will knock a handful of key contributors out of action, including Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Antonio Brown, D.J. Moore, Robby Anderson, Curtis Samuel, and Ronald Jones, among others. As a result of that and, of course, injuries, fantasy owners in must-win situations will be looking for viable RBs, WRs, and even TEs to trust as sleepers in their flex spots. Our Week 13 fantasy flex rankings will help to do just that and give owners a path to the fantasy playoffs.

Luckily, despite the byes this week, there are plenty of solid matchups to take advantage of. At RB, the Colts get to take on the Texans, so their committee of Jonathan Taylor, Nyheim Hines, and Jordan Wilkins will have an easy matchup to exploit. Per usual, though, the better depth for players comes at the receiver spot, and teams like the Vikings (vs. Jaguars), Raiders (@ Jets), Giants (@ Seahawks), and Packers (vs. Eagles) should be able to do some damage against soft opponents. That should give owners a chance to find worthwhile flex options on the waiver wire, as guys like Nelson Agholor, Sterling Shepard, and Allen Lazard are still available in many leagues.

While the WRs provide more upside than the RBs, the RBs have higher floors. So, if you're just looking to stay competitive and need to pick a safe play to give yourself a chance to win, choose a running back like Giovani Bernard, who may have some issues behind a bad offensive line but will still get enough touches to have a high floor. If you need a big play to win, taking a shot on someone like Gabriel Davis, who has played well without John Brown in the fold, could at least have a chance to work out.

WEEK 13 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

Always remember that tight ends can be flexed, as well. It's unlikely that you'll want to use two TEs, but if you somehow ended up with both Travis Kelce and T.J. Hockenson on your team, playing both could pan out. Also, once you've made your final lineup decision about who you want to start, put the player with the latest-starting game into your flex spot. This will give you more open options in case something changes last-minute with a player's status. During the crazy 2020 season, that has happened a couple of times, so having maximum flexibility is never a bad thing.
