Week 11 Fantasy TE PPR Rankings: Must-starts, sleepers, potential busts at tight end image

We all know there are only a handful of elite tight ends, and generally speaking, only those few players rack up significant targets, never mind yards and touchdowns. There are a few higher-target sleepers and streamers further down in our Week 11 fantasy TE PPR rankings, but as usual, our standard and PPR rankings are relatively similar.

Both sets of rankings get a big boost from the return of Travis Kelce from a bye. The Chiefs' star has been fantasy football's best player at the position this season while racking up 8.9 targets per game. Only Darren Waller (9) had been outdoing him in that category heading into last week. In Week 11, Kelce will once again ascend to the top of our rankings and is one of the few must-starts at the TE position.

WEEK 11 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

Unfortunately, our PPR rankings will be without two of the league's top-four TEs in targets per game. George Kittle (foot) is on IR, and Evan Engram and the Giants are on bye, so the TE1 ranks will be a little weaker than usual. Additionally, Jordan Reed and Jimmy Graham, two other potential top-15 plays, will be on bye.

WEEK 11 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiverD/ST | Kicker

The absences of those players will open up some opportunities for other streamers. Notably, Logan Thomas (vs. Bengals) and Dalton Schultz (@ Vikings) each have solid matchups, and each rank within the top 12 in targets per game at tight end (Schultz is 10th at 6.1, Thomas is 12th at 5.8). They work as viable sleepers for those streaming at the position, and they should pan out if they continue to get a high target share.

Elsewhere, while Jared Cook (vs. Falcons) has a good matchup, it may be tough to trust him over some other PPR options because he is getting just 4.6 targets per game and the Saints QB situation is up in the air. The Falcons are weak against TEs, but Cook represents one of the biggest movers in our PPR TE rankings. The upside is there, but he's more of a boom-or-bust option in PPR leagues. The same can be said of Taysom Hill, who may intrigue some. However, he may not get many catches given that he may be the backup to Jameis Winston if QB Drew Brees misses time. (Update: With Hill now expected to operate as the Saints primary QB, his floor is the highest of any TE on the board, which is why we've moved him to No. 1 in our rankings.)
