Week 11 Fantasy Football Projections, Rankings from Draft Sharks

Week 11 fantasy QB projections, rankings

Spotlight Player: Brock Purdy, 49ers vs. Buccaneers (SN Ranking: 11 | DS Ranking: 15)

UPDATE: Draft Sharks moved Purdy up several spots throughout the week.

There aren't many big differences in SN's QB rankings compared to Draft Shark's, but Purdy stands out a little bit since we have him ranked as a starter in 12-team leagues and DS doesn't. Tampa shut down Will Levis last week, but it was torn up by Jared Goff, Josh Allen, and C.J. Stroud in three of its previous four games. Purdy has enough weapons to have a Goff-like game against the Bucs (353 yards, two TDs), which is why we like him a little more.

Week 11 fantasy RB projections, rankings

Spotlight Player: Kareem Hunt, Browns vs. Steelers (SN PPR Ranking: 27 | DS Ranking: 37)

Hunt has scored in five-straight games, and while we know that streak will end at some point, we still like his usage inside the five-yard line. He doesn't really catch passes, which is probably why DS is lower on him than we are, but with an average of over 13 touches in his past three games, Hunt should get plenty of opportunities against Pittsburgh's 25th-ranked run defense.

Spotlight Player: James Conner, Cardinals @ Texans (SN PPR Ranking: 10 | DS Ranking: 22)

Conner didn't do a ton in his return from the IR last week (73 yards), but his 16 carries show he'll continue to dominate touches in the Cardinals' backfield. Atlanta is quietly a solid run defense, but Houston is allowing almost six more fantasy points per game to RBs this season. With Conner likely to get around 20 touches, he should put up big numbers. We view him as an RB1, but Draft Sharks is a little leerier, viewing him as more of a low-end RB2.

SN's WEEK 11 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Week 11 fantasy WR projections, rankings

Spotlight Player: Jayden Reed, Packers vs. Chargers (SN PPR Ranking: 41 | DS Ranking: 50)

Reed has emerged as the Packers' most productive receiver over the past month, but Draft Sharks is still worried about the coin-flip nature of Green Bay's receiving corps. Reed, Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and even Dontayvion Wicks all see similar usage, and it's anyone's guess as to which will pop in a given week. We think Reed can keep it going and pay off as a high-end flex, but Draft Sharks is understandably cautious, even against the league's worst pass defense.

Spotlight Player: Quentin Johnston, Chargers @ Packers (SN PPR Ranking: 38 | DS Ranking: 55)

We'll fully admit we're being optimistic here, as Johnston hasn't done enough to merit a high-end flex ranking. However, we liked what we saw from him last week when he drew a big pass interference penalty and caught his first TD. Draft Sharks is understandably being cautious, especially with Jalen Guyton garnering two more targets than the rookie last week. Either way, Johnston has major boom-or-bust appeal this week.

Week 11 fantasy TE projections, rankings

Spotlight Player: Michel Mayer, Raiders @ Dolphins (SN PPR Ranking: 15 | DS Ranking: 21)

Mayer caught his first TD last week, but he had just three catches for 19 yards. He's not a safe bet for targets or yards, but we expect the Raiders to be throwing a lot in comeback mode this week, opening the door for more opportunities. Draft Sharks isn't as optimistic, instead focusing on Mayer's disappointing track record. We think he makes for a decent streamer if you're hurting at the position, but DS clearly thinks you can do better.

Week 11 fantasy defense projections, rankings

Spotlight Player: Houston Texans vs. Cardinals (SN Ranking: 10 | DS Ranking: 16)

Houston will allow its fair share of yards, but it's been solid over its past four games, racking up 14 sacks and five takeaways. For the season, it's held offenses under 18 points four times. Even with Kyler Murray back, Arizona will make mistakes, and we're optimistic that Houston can take advantage. The Texans don't have a sky-high ceiling, but their floor is higher than you think.
