Week 10 Fantasy FLEX rankings

The Week 10 fantasy football FLEX rankings are feeling the effects of six teams on bye this week. I never thought I'd get to the bottom -- some of the names there didn't even feel like sleepers, but rather like the kind of guys you'd call "punts" in NFL DFS lineups. Maybe the six teams off this week have some of you forced to punt in your season-long teams, too, at least in that final lineup spot. If you're looking for the start 'em, sit 'em advice for that pesky FLEX spot on Sunday morning, you've come to the right place. 

The only broad advice I can give you if you're scrolling way down these FLEX rankings to decide whether to play Frank Gore is to try and have an understanding of your total lineup construction. Gore is a low-upside play. Someone like Laquon Treadwell or Breshad Perriman, right near Gore in these rankings, probably has a lot lower floor. The ceiling is probably higher, though, as an athletic receiver can catch one long pass for a touchdown and make you glad you played them. If your team is an underdog and you want some extra juice this week, you can afford to take a risk on the upside. If you're more of a favorite in your matchup and just want to secure a win, maybe you settle for Gore.

In general, those upside levels work right along positional lines: WRs will have the most upside, while mid-tier/low-tier RBs and TEs have less of it.

Y! cash | Y! GPP | DK cash | DK GPP | FD cash | FD GPP

Even among the same position on certain teams, guys aren't too far from each other in these FLEX rankings. We've got Olabisi Johnson barely ahead of Treadwell, but Treadwell is the more boom-or-bust option. Adam Humphries and Tajae Sharpe are right next to each other -- go Humphries in PPR or for floor and Sharpe for upside. Dante Pettis and Kendrick Bourne have better floors than Marquise Goodwin, but Goodwin has the higher ceiling. This is some complicated stuff -- at least usually you only have one of the guys from a given team. Good luck making these last-minute decisions.
