Week 10 FanDuel Picks: NFL DFS lineup advice for daily fantasy football GPP tournaments image

There are some weeks where putting out example NFL DFS lineups feels good -- because the lineup actually hits. Week 9 was one of those weeks, as our bold Jake Luton-led GPP lineup finished in the top 0.1 percent of FanDuel tournaments. Sometimes, that's the kind of bold sleeper pick that it takes to win or come close to winning. Our Week 10 FanDuel tournament picks don't get quite that daring, but they still have some potentially unique plays.

It all starts with a Rams stack of Jared Goff, Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods. The Seahawks' defense continues to be destroyed through the air, and there's nothing that makes us think Week 10 be any different. Playing a few cheaper players also allows us to use Aaron Jones in a very favorable matchup against the Jaguars.

FanDuel Picks Week 10: NFL DFS lineup for GPPs

QB Jared Goff, Rams vs. Seahawks ($7,400)

The Seahawks just allowed Josh Allen and the Bills to put up 44 points, and Allen had four total touchdowns in that game. Buffalo made a concerted effort to pass all game long, and Seattle had no answer. We know how much the Rams like to pass, so if Goff was ever going to have one of his occasional 500-plus yard days, it would be in this matchup.

RB Zack Moss, Bills @ Cardinals ($5,800)

The Cardinals are a middling run defense, and Moss' snap percentage has been trending up for three straight weeks now. People could stay away from Moss after a quiet Week 9 that was due more to Buffalo getting away from running the football. The Bills still like to pound the rock, though, and Moss has seen more goal-line work than Devin Singletary in recent weeks.

WEEK 10 DFS TOURNAMENT LINEUPS: DraftKings

RB JaMycal Hasty, 49ers @ Saints ($5,100)

Hasty was a major disappointment on Thursday Night Football in Week 9, but as long as Raheem Mostert (ankle) and Tevin Coleman (knee) are held out ahead of the 49ers' Week 11 bye, Hasty should see double-digit touches in this one. The Saints have a consistently stout run defense, but Hasty has been an effective per-touch player in his NFL career, and we'll take a gamble on him at this cheap price.

WR Keenan Allen, Chargers @ Dolphins ($7,800)

Allen has now had 11 or more targets in three straight weeks. While Justin Herbert and Allen are cooking like this, they're usable in cash games and tournaments alike. Allen remains a slightly less flashy option than other high-priced receivers, though, which we'll hope keeps his ownership low ahead of another game that L.A. could be playing catch-up.

WEEK 10 DFS CASH LINEUPS: DraftKingsFanDuel

WR Cooper Kupp, Rams vs. Seahawks ($7,700)

Kupp is consistently my preferred Rams receiver, mostly because when Goff gets his deep ball right, it's normally Kupp on the other end. Against Seattle, it's likely the Rams will have everything working. The Seahawks have allowed the most FD points per game to WRs by more than 10 points per contest, which is just absurd. Play Kupp with confidence.

WR Robert Woods, Rams vs. Seahawks ($7,200)

You just read about how bad the Seahawks' defense is in Kupp's blurb, so we'll just add for Woods that he's Sean McVay's favorite option on jet sweep runs, which increases Woods' upside ever so slightly.

TE T.J. Hockenson, Lions vs. Washington ($6,200)

Tight end will likely be a spot where most DFS players pay down this week, so we'll zig in the other direction by playing the relatively high-priced Hockenson. Washington's a bottom-10 team at defending the tight end, and after a rocky week of practice without Matthew Stafford in Week 9, the Lions should have a chance to right the ship in this matchup.

WEEK 10 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

FLEX Aaron Jones, Packers vs. Jaguars ($8,800)

Jones is a great play in any format this week, and he'll likely see high ownership even in tournaments. But because we've left room on the table for our flex spot, Jones is still a solid choice for us to use. He looked healthier than anticipated in Week 9 and had 10 days to recover before a matchup that will likely be a blowout in Green Bay's favor.

WEEK 10 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

DEF Detroit Lions vs. Washington ($3,900)

Alex Smith's story is inspiring, but Washington's offense shouldn't pose too much of a threat to Detroit's defense. The bigger worry is whether Detroit can cause some turnovers, which early-career Smith was decent at avoiding. But with no other D/STs really jumping out, we'll take this low-ownership risk in the hope that Detroit plays its best defensive game of the season in Week 10.
