Tuesday Night Football FanDuel Picks: NFL DFS lineup advice for Week 5 Titans-Bills single-game tournaments image

The Titans and the Bills are getting ready to square off in the NFL's first Tuesday night game in nearly a decade. With the postponement of Thursday Night Football to Monday for Week 6, this will be daily fantasy football players' last chance to get in on the NFL DFS action until Sunday rolls around. Our FanDuel single-game lineup is here to help with your picks.

Our strategy in this contest was to go a bit pass-happy and pretty contrarian. Many will focus on Derrick Henry and Josh Allen as key pieces on this slate, but we're avoiding both of them and instead focusing entirely on receiving weapons and the (likely) lower-owned QB Ryan Tannehill. It's a risk, but if either Allen or Henry doesn't live up to expectations, this lineup could easily work its way inside the cash line.

WEEK 6 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

FanDuel Single-Game Picks: Titans vs. Bills

MVP (1.5x points): A.J. Brown, Titans ($11,500)

Josh Allen will likely be the most popular MVP here, and it's easy to see why. He's averaging over 30 FanDuel points per game and has a high floor because of his scrambling ability. That said, with this lineup fading him, I'm banking on Brown being a low-owned captain in his first game back from injury. Brown has been dealing with a knee bruise and had just five catches for 39 yards in the Titans' season-opening win over the Broncos. That said, Brown was a big-time playmaker last year, and the Titans' Nos. 2 and 3 receivers, Corey Davis and Adam Humphries, are both on the COVID list. Brown should see a ton of targets and have a big game, especially with Tre'Davious White (back) questionable for the Bills. Feel free to trust Brown as a high-floor, high-ceiling play. He's not as risky as some may think.

TUESDAY INJURIES: A.J. Brown | Brown/Moss

FLEX: Ryan Tannehill, Titans ($15,000)

With Brown as our MVP, we want to stack him with his quarterback, and Tannehill is $1,000 cheaper than Allen, which makes a huge difference. Tannehill has had two multi-TD games this year and has thrown for at least two TDs in 11 of his past 13 regular-season games. While Allen's ceiling is higher, Tannehill has a high floor and should be able to do some damage against a beat-up Bills secondary. If you'd rather spend up for Allen here, you can, but it will come at the cost of getting another top-tier pass-catching weapon.

FLEX: Stefon Diggs, Bills ($13,500)

Though we don't have Allen in this lineup, we do have his top pass-catching threat in Diggs. Through four games with the Bills, Diggs is averaging 16.33 FD points per game and has yet to log fewer than 12.6 in a single contest. He should continue to command targets (35 so far this season), and the Titans are allowing 31.9 FD points per game to receivers, tied for 12th most in the league. Diggs should challenge for another 100-yard game.

FLEX: Jonnu Smith, Titans ($10,500)

Here's another Tennessee pass-catcher. Smith makes sense given that he's likely the No. 2 target for the Titans moving forward. Smith is averaging 4.3 catches, 60.3 yards, and a TD per game so far this season, and he has logged at least 8.6 FD points in every outing. He can serve as a downfield playmaker and will have a chance to do just that against a Bills defense that allows, by far, the most yards per game to TEs this year (89.8).

WEEK 6 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

FLEX: Cole Beasley, Bills ($9,500)

Beasley is the perfect sub-$10K value for our lineup. With John Brown (calf) questionable, Beasley will play an increased role in the Bills' offense as a potential No. 2 receiver. Even if Brown plays, Beasley can still be a reception machine and has at least 9.5 FD points in three consecutive games. By targeting two of Allen's top receivers, we mitigate the risk of fading him. So long as Allen doesn't run roughshod on the Titans or surprisingly avoid Diggs and Beasley, our lineup should be in good shape.
