Are you ready for some baseball? It's Tuesday, so that means another huge night of daily fantasy baseball -- and hopefully some MLB DFS green in our pockets -- is ahead of us. All three sites, DraftKings, FanDuel, and Yahoo, will feature 12-game main slates that lock at 7:05 p.m. ET. Veteran ace Justin Verlander leads the pitching tonight, while up-and-coming arms like Alek Manoah and Tarik Skubal will also be popular plays. Vlad Guerrero Jr and his Blue Jays teammates are still priced too cheap and make for a great stack on DraftKings, and Freddie Freeman is a relative value on FanDuel. There also might be some weather issues tonight, so be sure to keep an eye on the DFS Alarm Weather Center.

Today's MLB DFS Playbook: Lineup picks, tips for Tuesday
SP Justin Verlander, Astros (vs. Mariners). JV is coming off his seventh quality start of the season and will be a heavy favorite tonight (-250) at home against Seattle. He comes in with a 2.23 ERA/0.80 WHIP and will be the top overall arm of the slate.
SP Jeffrey Springs, Rays (vs. Cardinals). He gets a tough matchup against the Cardinals, but I'm a firm believer in Springs' ability as another pitching stud to come through the Rays organization. His low pitch count (85) is built into the price, but Springs is coming off tying his season high in strikeouts (7) against Texas. With an elite changeup, he has a low 0.93 WHIP and 27-percent strikeout rate over his past five starts and makes for a sneaky SP2 on DK especially.
C J.T. Realmuto, Phillies (@ Brewers). Realmuto is starting to come around after a rough start, hitting .300 this week with a .200 ISO/.374 wOBA. He faces spot-starter Jason Alexander, and Realmuto has actually hit righties better than lefties this year.
1B Freddie Freeman, Dodgers (@ White Sox). I have no idea what DK or FD are thinking. Another elite first baseman is mispriced. It's going to be tough to decide on Freeman or Vladimir Guerrero Jr. tonight, but both are firmly in play at these prices. Freeman is slashing .294/.379/.455 with an .834 OPS and gets the platoon advantage over Michael Kopech.
2B Cavan Biggio, Blue Jays (@ Royals). It seems like we have been waiting an eternity for Biggio to show his promise, but he's finally starting to hit the ball. He's hit safely in five of his past eight games, including an 18-fantasy-point game against the Twins over the weekend. At bare minimum, Biggio gets you a cheap piece of the powerful Jays stack tonight.
3B Patrick Wisdom, Cubs (@ Orioles). I do like Kyle Bradish tonight as a value tournament pitcher, but Wisdom is in a solid spot against the young RHP who has notable reverse splits. With a .272 ISO/.331 wOBA against RHP, Wisdom is a boom-or-bust hitter -- low BA but six HRs and 14 RBIs over his past 20 games.
SS Dansby Swanson, Braves (vs. A's). Swanson is a streaky hitter, but he's currently streaking, hitting .342 over the past 20 games with a .386 wOBA and 142.1 wRC+. But even more impressive is the five stolen bases in that span (his nine on the season is as much as he had in all of 2021). Tonight, he's in a smash spot at home with platoon advantage over LHP Cole Irvin.
OF Cedric Mullins, Orioles (vs. Cubs). The Orioles leadoff hitter is too cheap in this favorable matchup against Keegan Thompson. He is not having the season he had last year, but he still comes in with a .217 ISO/.363 wOBA with a .284 average against righties and gets a little boost with the wind blowing out
MORE PICKS: SP Tarik Skubal, Tigers (@ Pirates); C Alejandro Kirk, Blue Jays (@ Royals); 1B Ryan Mountcastle, Orioles (vs. Cubs); 2B Ozzie Albies, Braves (vs. A's); 3B Rafael Devers, Red Sox (@ Angels); SS Javier Baez, Tigers (@ Pirates); OF Brendan Donovan, Cardinals (@ Rays)
