It's another big night of baseball for fantasy baseball managers, who will be setting up lineups for the MLB DFS main slate at the 7:05 p.m. ET lock on DraftKings, FanDuel, and Yahoo. It is a 13-game slate on all three sites, so there is plenty of research ahead to find the right arms and bats on a slate filled with stars like pitchers Nestor Cortes and Sean Manaea and the big bats of Mike Trout and Rafael Devers. Currently, there are no big weather issues, but you will need to check back during the afternoon with our MLB Weather Center.

Today's MLB DFS Playbook: Lineup picks, tips for Tuesday
SP Nestor Cortes, Yankees (@ Rays). Cortes is facing a Rays' offense, which has the second-highest strikeout rate on the slate to lefthanded pitching ( 25.5 percent with a 12.7 SwStr%). Tampa Bay's bats are not scaring anyone at the moment, and Cortes has a 9.69 strikeouts rate on the season with a 1.94 ERA and 0.93 WHIP. However, one concern that remains for Cortes is his 6.8 K/9 over the past five starts.
SP Roansy Contreras, Pirates (vs. Cubs). Contreras is an interesting GPP play tonight. He is young and pitching for a bad team, but you can't deny a 9.74 K/9 on the season. He's also facing the worst team on the slate against righthanded pitching in Chicago. The Cubs are striking out at a 26.4 percent clip with a 13.1 SwStr% and 28.2 Whf/Sw%.
C Willson Contreras, Cubs (@ Pirates). Contreras keeps right on hitting as he has a .320 average, six home runs, and 12 RBI over his past 20 games. He's in a big spot against Roasny Contreras and the Pirates tonight.
1B Rhys Hoskins, Phillies (@ Rangers). Hoskins has been one of the hottest hitters in the game, hitting .380 over the past seven days with a .385 ISO/.496wOBA and .338 over the past 20 games with six runs and 14 RBI. He gets the platoon advantage against left-handed starting pitcher Martin Perez (.324 ISO/.422wOBA).
2B Jake Cronenworth, Padres (vs. Diamondbacks). Cronenworth has a tough matchup against Zac Gallen, but he's hitting .377 over the past 20 games with four home runs and 22 RBI. He's also hitting .500 over the past week. $6K is a lot to pay on DK, but he has seven double-digit fantasy point performances out of his past eight games and will always be low-rostered.
3B Nolan Arenado, Cardinals (@ Brewers). Arenado is the high-priced GPP pivot off of Rafael Devers. He has four home runs and13 RBIs over his past 20 games and is in a prime spot against Chi Chi Gonzalez.
SS Oneil Cruz, Pirates (vs. Cubs). Cruz went 2-for-5 with a double, four RBIs, and two runs scored in his major league debut on Monday. The Pirates' top prospect is still at a minimum price and will be popular tonight at either shortstop or in the outfield.
OF Shohei Ohtani, Angels (vs. Royals). Ohtani is overdue for a big game and sets up nicely tonight. He has a .239 ISO/.354wOBA against right-handed pitching and will be facing Jonathan Heasley, who has been smashed by left-handed bats (.303 ISO/.400wOBA) this season.
MORE PICKS: SP Spencer Strider, Braves (vs. Giants); C MJ Melendez, Royals (@ Angels); 1B Paul Goldschmidt, Cardinals (@ Brewers); 2B Gleyber Torres, Yankees (@ Rays); 3B Rafael Devers, Red Sox (vs. Tigers); SS Didi Gregorius, Phillies (@ Rangers); OF Jack Suwinski, Pirates (vs. Cubs)
