Today's MLB DFS Picks: Advice, strategy for Tuesday's DraftKings, FanDuel daily fantasy baseball contests image

Tonight features a 15-game slate on FanDuel and a 13-game slate on DraftKings. There are a bunch of solid pitching options from which to choose, so this is a nice day for those who like to enter multiple MLB DFS lineups in various contests across the two sites.

There are no weather worries today, so that's a plus, but with three games starting after 10 p.m. ET, you might have to sweat out some lineup announcements, especially on FanDuel, which includes both the Red Sox-Yankees (6:35 p.m. ET first pitch) and Pirates-Tigers (6:40 p.m. ET).

Kenta Maeda, SP, Dodgers vs. Reds. Maeda is our top projected value on DraftKings and our No. 2 value on FanDuel. He gets a struggling Reds offense at home. He might not be worth his price to many, but with so many different options, he won’t be highly owned, making him a decent contrarian play for GPPs.

Wilson Ramos, C, Mets @ Phillies. Ramos is absolutely crushing the ball right now. He sports a .351 xBA and a 56.8-percent hard-hit percentage. The only thing that isn’t happening right now for Ramos is home runs, but that is matter of time. Tonight he faces off against Nick Pivetta, who has been a homer machine thus far.

Carlos Santana, 1B, Indians @ Mariners. Santana isn’t a high-upside play, but he has a ton of safety for cash games. He has a .400 batting average with a 1.071 OPS and gets to face lackluster veteran Mike Leake. There isn’t too much to be afraid of in the Indians offense, but Jose Ramirez is starting to come around and Santana should benefit from some nice pitches.

Garrett Hampson, 2B, Rockies @ Padres. Hampson has struggled this year, but he's started to show some signs of life and has been hitting in the two-hole against lefties since Ryan McMahon went down. His extremely cheap price on FanDuel makes him an almost must-play.

Elvis Andrus, SS, Rangers vs. Angels. Call it a juiced ball or say that last year should be thrown out because of injury, but either way, Andrus is raking. He has an xBA and xwOBA among the top six percent of the league and already has three home runs and four stolen bases. The Rangers offense is better than people realize. I like Andrus in both cash and GPPs.

Brandon Drury, 3B, Blue Jays @ Twins. Kyle Gibson has been awful to start the season, and while I expect a rebound, if you need to save some cash at third, Drury is very cheap. The season has been slow going for him, but Drury provides a punt play who has power and speed and gives you the flexibility to get other guys into your lineup.

Alex Verdugo, OF, Dodgers vs. Reds. With Cody Bellinger out, Verdugo should be in the lineup tonight. He has been great in limited time and gets to face Tyler Mahle, who can get beat for home runs. Just make sure to check the lineup before lock.
