Today's MLB DFS Picks: Advice, strategy for Tuesday's DraftKings, FanDuel daily fantasy baseball contests image

We're gearing up for a big 15-game daily fantasy baseball slate Tuesday night. That usually makes things more fun in DraftKings and FanDuel contests, but we are dealing with a bunch of bad weather situations in Kansas City (Rays-Royals), Texas (Pirates-Rangers), Chicago (Orioles-White Sox), and Minnesota (Astros-Twins) with KC being the worst, followed by Chicago second. Do not forget to check the Fantasy Alarm weather center games before finalizing your MLB DFS lineups. (Update: Orioles-White Sox has been postponed.)

Today's MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings, FanDuel advice for Tuesday, April 30

SP: Chris Paddack, Padres @ Braves. Paddack has been amazing this season. He is sporting a 1.67 ERA, 0.67 WHIP, and a 30-percent strikeout rate. His fastball and changeup are plus pitches, and his curveball is showable. He has a tough matchup today versus the Braves in Atlanta, but he is still worth playing in cash or GPPs.

C: Yadier Molina, Cardinals vs. Nationals. Molina is one of those overlooked catchers no matter the format. He has shown little power this year, but he's hitting for average. He has a nice matchup versus a struggling Anibal Sanchez who has given up over five walks per nine and four home runs in his past four games. Molina is fairly priced and a very nice cash game or GPP play.

MORE TUESDAY MLB: DK lineup | SP rankings | Betting picks

1B: Rowdy Tellez, Blue Jays @ Angels. If you are looking to save a little money at first base, than Tellez may be the option for you. Tellez has hit for power and not much else this year, but he is hitting in the middle of the lineup most days as well playing this game against a rookie making his major league debut in Anaheim, where the park plays better for lefthanded power. Tellez is a nice, cheap GPP option.

2B: Jose Peraza, Reds @ Mets. Peraza started the year off ice cold, but he's now hitting .350/.381/.600 over the past week with a home run and a stolen base. He led off for the Reds yesterday and faces an awful lefty in Jason Vargas today. He is still very cheap and an option in both GPPs and cash games.

SS: Trevor Story, Rockies @ Brewers. Story has been fantastic this season, carrying over what he did last season with seven homers and six stolen bases already. He's on the road, but Milwaukee is still a nice place to hit. He is also facing Jhoulys Chacin, who has been dreadful so far this season.

3B: Jose Ramirez, Indians @ Marlins. J-Ram has been dealing with a slow start and injuries at the beginning of the season, but he appears to be turning it around. He has one homer and three stolen bases over the past week with a .318/.444/.500 triple slash and faces Sandy Alcantara, who can struggle with his command in the zone, which leads to home runs.

OF: Andrew Benintendi, Red Sox vs. A's. Benintendi has struggled to start the season, but he is still hitting the ball hard and making excellent zone contact. He has been chasing too many pitches outside of the zone, though. He faces Aaron Brooks today, which is not necessarily a great matchup for that, but Brooks gives up a ton of hard contact and lets the ball get into the air, so Benintendi, who is usually a cash game play, is more of a GPP option at his cheap price.
