Thursday Night Football FanDuel Picks: NFL DFS lineup advice for Week 10 Colts-Titans single-game tournaments image

The Colts and the Titans are playing on Thursday Night Football in Week 10 in what should be an exciting divisional clash. Both teams have a legitimate chance to make the playoffs and win the AFC South, and this game will go a long way toward deciding that. Because this game is so important, both teams should be at their best. Our FanDuel Single-game DFS lineup will be taking a balanced approach, spending most of our budget and targeting high-priced players on one side and sleepers on the other.

Per usual, the most important choice was MVP. There are a few intriguing options on this slate, but we decided to go with a high-ceiling wideout that probably won't be the top-owned MVP in the contest. We paired that receiver with his quarterback and then spent the rest of our budget targeting sleeper picks from the same team. That's where we'll get our key lineup differentiation, and we'll hope that this group is unique enough to get us well over the cash line.

FanDuel Single-Game Picks: Packers-49ers

MVP (1.5x points): A.J. Brown, Titans ($15,000)

Brown seems like the best MVP option in this one. The Colts have a very strong defense, but Brown has proven to be pretty much matchup-proof so far this season. Against the Bears, he had 18.1 FanDuel points. Against the Steelers, 24.3. He can turn any catch into a big play and should continue seeing at least seven targets per game from Ryan Tannehill. He has yet to see fewer than that number in a single game, so the floor is there, and because of his big-play ability and the fact that he has logged a TD in five consecutive games, the ceiling is there for him, as well.

FLEX: Ryan Tannehill, Titans ($16,000)

In all but one game this season, Tannehill has at least two total TDs. He hasn't scored fewer than 13.24 FD points in a game this season, and he's averaging 21.16 FD points per outing. He's a classic high-floor player, and pairing him with Brown will give us a chance to earn double points. There are concerns about rolling with Tannehill in a tough matchup, but the fact is that he doesn't make too many mistakes and there aren't a lot of high-end players worth considering here. Basically, we were choosing between Tannehill and Derrick Henry, and given that the Colts have allowed the fewest rushing yards to RBs this season (496), going with Tannehill seems like the better move.

WEEK 10 DFS CASH LINEUPS: DraftKingsFanDuel

FLEX: Jonathan Taylor, Colts ($12,000)

The choice between starting Taylor or Jordan Wilkins in this spot was tough, but ultimately we went with Taylor. While Wilkins has out-touched Taylor 34-21 the past two weeks, Taylor was the one to find the end zone against the Ravens last week. Sure, he fumbled, but if Frank Reich is willing to trust Taylor near the goal line, that will give him more upside than Wilkins. Whichever back you choose, the Colts have a great matchup against a Titans defense that has allowed 22.2 FD points per game to RBs, good for the eighth most in the NFL. Between the matchup and the fact that many other players may be out on Taylor amid his recent struggles, this seems like a rock-solid pick for the purposes of ceiling and lineup differentiation.

WEEK 10 DFS TOURNAMENT LINEUPS: DraftKings | FanDuel

FLEX: Nyheim Hines, Colts ($8,500)

We are going with a second RB here, but it's not Wilkins. Instead, we're targeting Hines, who also can take advantage of the favorable matchup. Tennessee has allowed four receiving TDs to RBs this season, tied with three other teams for the second most in the league. Hines hasn't consistently had a big role for the Colts, but he has averaged 4.5 targets per game in his past four outings and had a two-TD game against the Lions just a couple of weeks ago. If Hines can get some action in the red zone as a receiver, he could score once again, and Rivers should be looking his way more frequently due to some injuries that the Colts are dealing with on offense.

FLEX: Trey Burton, Colts ($7,500)

Speaking of Colts injuries, the notable ones they are dealing with come at tight end. Jack Doyle (concussion) seems unlikely to play, and Mo Alie-Cox (knee) also won't be 100 percent if he's active. That leaves Trey Burton and Noah Togiai as the only healthy TE options on the roster. That could benefit Burton, who has seen at least four targets in every game this year and saw some action as a red-zone Wildcat QB in recent weeks. If he plays a full complement of snaps, Burton could have a big day, so he's worth taking a chance on at this price.
