Saturday Night Football FanDuel Picks: NFL DFS lineup advice for Week 16 Dolphins-Raiders single-game tournaments image

The Dolphins are fighting for a chance to get into the playoffs in their second season under Brian Flores. To have a shot at that, they're going to have to keep pace with the rest of the AFC and beat Las Vegas on Saturday night in Week 16. The Raiders, while still mathematically alive, would need a miracle to qualify for the postseason, but with Jon Gruden at the helm, they'll certainly be giving it their all against Miami. NFL DFS players should enjoy this game, as there are many solid offensive weapons to choose from and most are reasonably priced. Our FanDuel Single-game lineup is taking a balanced approach and will be keeping a close eye on the injury report ahead of roster lock.

Right now, the Dolphins have a lot of injuries on the offensive side of the ball. Myles Gaskin (COVID), DeVante Parker (hamstring), and Mike Gesicki (shoulder) were all out last week, so it's hard to know exactly who can be trusted. Still, there are plenty of options on the Dolphins to trust, and we have three of them in our lineup, including one member of the injured trio. Countering them, we have the two best Raiders offensive weapons in hopes that Derek Carr can guide the offense to at least a few scoring chances.

FanDuel Single-Game Picks: Raiders vs. Dolphins

MVP (1.5x points): Josh Jacobs, Raiders ($14,000)

Jacobs has posted at least 12.9 FanDuel points in five of his past seven games and the Dolphins are worse against the run than they are against the pass. Jacobs should be fed a steady diet of touches -- he is averaging 20.5 per game in his past seven outings -- and if he can find the end zone, he should pay off for Vegas. With Gaskin likely to return to action for the Dolphins, we flipped Jacobs into the MVP spot with Salvon Ahmed being a normal flex since Jacobs has a clearer path to a full workload.

SATURDAY DRAFTKINGS LINEUPS: Bucs-Lions | 49ers-CardinalsDolphins-Raiders

FLEX: Salvon Ahmed, Dolphins ($12,500)

Speaking of Ahmed, we all saw what he did to the Patriots last week as he racked up 122 yards and a TD on the ground. With Myles Gaskin (COVID) likely returning, Ahmed might not get a full workload, but given the power and vision he has shown as the Dolphins' top back, he likely won't be phased out of the offense completely. Ahmed is taking on a Raiders team that has allowed the third-most FanDuel points to RBs on the year, including 17 rushing TDs, which is tied for the league lead. Ahmed has another chance to eclipse 100 yards in this matchup and he could be a good differentiator in the MVP spot, as many will go with Tua Tagovailoa or Josh Jacobs, but with Gaskin back, we'll still with him as a flex.

SATURDAY FANDUEL LINEUPS: Bucs-Lions49ers-Cardinals

FLEX: Darren Waller, Raiders ($13,000)

Waller is the No. 1 pass-catcher for the Raiders and the No. 1 pass-catcher on this slate. In his past three games, Waller is averaging 25 FD points per game and has recorded no fewer than seven catches and 75 yards in any outing. The Dolphins have been very good against TEs, but Waller will be the second-toughest player they've faced at the position this year behind only Travis Kelce. Since Kelce had eight catches, 136 yards, and a TD against the Dolphins, it stands to reason that Waller could have similar success.

SATURDAY FULL-SLATE DFS LINEUPS: FanDuel | DraftKings

FLEX: DeVante Parker, Dolphins ($11,500)

Parker is dealing with a hamstring injury, but given that he was almost able to return to action last week, we'll anticipate that he'll be able to play in this game. If so, Parker will get to beat up on a defense that has allowed the 11th-most fantasy points to WRs and just let Jalen Guyton go for 91 yards against them while Tyron Johnson caught a TD. Parker, if healthy, should see plenty of targets from Tua and may end up being a No. 1 option in the red zone. If Parker can't play, Mike Gesicki (shoulder) is a nice pivot here, and if both are out, Nelson Agholor would be the other option to trust. Of the three, Parker's ceiling in the highest.

WEEK 16 DFS TOURNAMENT LINEUPS: DraftKings | FanDuel

FLEX: Lynn Bowden Jr., Dolphins ($9,000)

Bowden is a really nice buy-low option who should be in line for some solid work depending on who is in and who is out for the Dolphins. In his past three games, Bowden has been targeted 20 times, catching 17 passes for 160 yards. He hasn't found the end zone yet, but he's a solid option in the half-point PPR format given his ability to play as a pass-catcher out of the backfield and his skills in the slot. Also, Bowden did throw a pass at one point, so there are a lot of different ways that he can be used. At just $9K, he's a potential boom pick with a solid floor. This is also a revenge game for him, as the Raiders drafted him in the third round this year and traded him to the Dolphins before seeing him in game action, so that could motivate Bowden even more.
