NFL Week 6 Weather Updates: Light wind, rain in forecast unlikely to affect fantasy start 'em, sit 'em decisions image

Last week was about as clean of a weather week as fantasy football owners could hope for, and the Week 6 NFL weather forecast looks just as mild. There's a little bit of wind and rain that we'll need to watch, but overall, you shouldn't have (m)any weather worries when making your start 'em, sit 'em decisions. Nonetheless, RotoGrinders' meteorologist Kevin Roth is here to help us break down the weather updates you need to know ahead of your lineup decisions.

Before we get into the Week 6 forecasts, here's a reminder that if you have any questions about sports weather or how weather could impact play (and, potentially, your fantasy, DFS, and gambling decisions), don't hesitate to reach out to RotoGrinders' meteorologist Kevin Roth on Twitter (@KevinRothWx) or check out the hourly NFL weather forecasts on RotoGrinders. WEEK 6 FANTASY PICKS: Sleepers | Busts | Start 'em, sit 'em

If a game isn't mentioned below, it's because it doesn't even have 10-mph winds or a 20-percent chance of rain in the forecast.

NFL Week 6 weather forecast and updates

Forecasts courtesy of Kevin Roth at RotoGrinders

Commanders @ Bears. This game could see 15-mph winds early on, and there's also a small chance of rain. Those aren't enough reasons to bench any players you were going to start, and it only helps the D/STs.

WEEK 6 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Buccaneers @ Steelers. There isn't much wind in the forecast for this one, but there is about a 20-percent chance of rain in the second half. This shouldn't hurt any of the regular starters, but it doesn't figure to help the Steelers' lackluster offense. (UPDATE: The chances for rain have fallen to under 10 percent, so don't worry about this game.)

WEEK 6 DFS: Best stacks | Best values

Jets @ Packers. There's some mild wind in the forecast (10-13 mph), so unless the forecast worsens, there's nothing to worry about here. (UPDATE: There's an increasing chance of rain late, but it's still under 30 percent.)

RotoGrinders-Weather-Edge

Patriots @ Browns. More light winds (10-13 mph). Don't worry about this one either.

Vikings @ Dolphins. There's about a 20-percent chance of rain and winds around 10 mph. Ultimately, that's not enough reason to bench any of the key WRs.

WEEK 6 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Cowboys @ Eagles. Fortunately, there isn't much wind in the forecast, but there is a 30-percent chance of rain. Assuming it's not a downpour, this shouldn't have a big effect on the game, but it's something that bears watching throughout the weekend. If the forecast worsens, it could be a reason to upgrade the D/STs and downgrade the kickers and fringe receivers (which is really just Michael Gallup).

WEEK 6 DFS LINEUPS: FanDuel | DraftKings

All of this is subject to change as we get closer to kickoff. You can follow meteorologist Kevin Roth on Twitter (@KevinRothWx) and check out the hourly NFL weather forecasts on RotoGrinders. For the best weather-related fantasy advice, take a look at WeatherEdge.
