NFL Week 5 Weather Updates: Rain in forecast for Bills-Chiefs could affect fantasy start 'em, sit 'em decisions image

The Week 5 NFL weather forecast is another mostly favorable one for fantasy football owners, but one game -- one very big game -- stands out as somewhat worrisome. The Bills-Chiefs Sunday night showdown figures to see increasingly heavy rain throughout. Fortunately, there won't be much wind, but start 'em, sit 'em decisions at more than a few positions might be affected. With the help of RotoGrinders' meteorologist Kevin Roth, we break down the weather updates you need to know before finalizing your lineups.

Before we get into the Week 5 forecasts, here's a reminder that if you have any questions about sports weather or how weather could impact play (and, potentially, your fantasy, DFS, and gambling decisions), don't hesitate to reach out to RotoGrinders' meteorologist Kevin Roth on Twitter (@KevinRothWx) or check out the hourly NFL weather forecasts on RotoGrinders. Saints @ Washington. There's likely to be some early rain and winds around 10-12 mph, but those aren't enough reasons to bench any players you were planning to start barring a turn for the worse in the forecast.

WEEK 5 DFS LINEUPS: FanDuel | DraftKings | Yahoo

Titans @ Jaguars. There are some very minor wind worries (10-12 mph) and some possible fourth-quarter rain, but like the Saints-Washington game, there's no need to bench any players in the passing or kicking games.

Bills @ Chiefs. There could be a steady drizzle for most of the game, but precipitation figures to get heavier in the second half. (Update: Now it's looking like the heavy stuff could earlier.) It's tough to say just how bad it will get, but either way, it's tough to bench anyone in two of the best offenses in football. If you really want to play it safe, you might want to look elsewhere for kickers and maybe leave secondary receivers like Cole Beasley and Emmanuel Sanders on your bench. However, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Travis Kelce, Stefon Diggs, and Tyreek Hill remain must-starts.
