NFL Week 2 Weather Updates: Rain, wind could affect fantasy start 'em, sit 'em decisions image

Just like last week, we don't have many big NFL weather worries, but considering some of the key players involved in the few potentially rainy/windy games we have (Bills-Dolphins, Lions-Packers, Panthers-Buccaneers), fantasy football owners will want to double-check the forecast updates before locking in their start 'em, sit 'em decisions.

Before we get into the forecasts, we'd be remiss if we didn't point out that if you have any questions about sports weather or how weather could impact play (and, potentially, your fantasy, DFS, and gambling decisions), don't hesitate to reach out to Rotogrinders' meteorologist Kevin Roth on Twitter (@KevinRothWx) or check out the hourly NFL weather forecasts on RotoGrinders. NFL Week 2 weather updates

Bills @ Dolphins. Scattered storms are possible, but it's going to be tough to pinpoint whether rain will impact the game until Sunday morning, so stay tuned to @KevinRothWx on Twitter for last-minute updates.

Lions @ Packers. Winds are looking to be right at the 15-mph threshold that I look for to see some weather impacts. If it's under 15 mph, I'm generally not concerned; if it's over 15 mph, I expect some impact to kicking and passing. With the forecast where it is now, we are somewhere in the middle. Maybe a long throw or two is impacted, but most of the game will be fine.

Panthers @ Buccaneers. Some wind (15 mph) and the potential for scattered showers and storms. If this does indeed look wet prior to kickoff, then it would be the game most impacted by weather, so check back RotoGrinders NFL weather for hourly weather updates closer to kickoff.

WEEK 2 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight endD/ST | Kicker

All of this is subject to change as we get closer to kickoff. You can follow meteorologist Kevin Roth on Twitter (@KevinRothWx) and check out the hourly NFL weather forecasts on RotoGrinders. For the best weather-related fantasy advice, take a look at WeatherEdge.
