NFL Week 16 Weather Updates: Snow for Titans-Packers could affect fantasy start 'em, sit 'em decisions image

This has been arguably the most challenging season ever for fantasy football owners, but one factor that hasn't caused a ton of drama is weather. Only a few games all year have been seriously affected by the elements, and Week 16 won't be much different. There's potential snow in the forecast for the Titans-Packers Sunday night matchup, but other than that, fantasy start 'em, sit 'em decisions won't be affected by the weather conditions.

Before we get into the Week 16 forecasts, here's a reminder that if you have any questions about sports weather or how weather could impact play (and, potentially, your fantasy, DFS, and gambling decisions), don't hesitate to reach out to Rotogrinders' meteorologist Kevin Roth on Twitter (@KevinRothWx) or check out the hourly NFL weather forecasts on RotoGrinders. Titans @ Packers. Snow looks increasingly likely before and during the game (especially early). The best guess at in-game snow totals would be maybe an inch or two, but that's far from set in stone. Generally, a little snow doesn't have the negative impact on offense many assume, as defenders often struggle to keep their footing. Offensive players deal with equally slippery footing, but they at least know where they want to go. I think the forecast is a slight bump toward the running game for both teams, but after watching Tom Brady once throw five games in one quarter in the snow (2009), I'm not too high on it being a disruptive element. There won't be much wind and the temperature will be in the 20s, so there's no need to consider benching Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, or A.J. Brown, and if you were going to play Robert Tonyan, Ryan Tannehill, and Corey Davis, they're still in play, too.
