NFL Weather Week 10: Rain, wind in forecast could affect fantasy start 'em, sit 'em decisions image

Last week was a dream for fantasy football owners, at least in terms of weather, and the second Sunday in November has a similar outlook. There's a little more wind and rain in the Week 10 NFL weather forecast, but chances are, it won't have a big effect on start 'em, sit 'em decisions. Fortunately, RotoGrinders' meteorologist Kevin Roth is back to help us break down all the key weather updates before fantasy football owners lock in their lineups.

Before we get into the Week 10 forecasts, here's a reminder that if you have any questions about sports weather or how weather could impact play (and, potentially, your fantasy, DFS, and gambling decisions), don't hesitate to reach out to RotoGrinders' meteorologist Kevin Roth on Twitter (@KevinRothWx) or check out the hourly NFL weather forecasts on RotoGrinders. To take your game to the next level, subscribe to RotoGrinders' exclusive WeatherEdge tool and see how different weather conditions have impacted historical scoring.

Note: If a game isn't mentioned below, it's because it doesn't even have 10-mph winds or a 20-percent chance of precipitation in the forecast.

Panthers @ Bears. The Windy City will live up to its nickname on Thursday, as there will be 15-mph sustained winds and 25-mph gusts. Fantasy owners likely aren't playing either kicker anyway, and you don't really need to worry about Adam Thielen, DJ Moore, or Cole Kmet in the passing games.

49ers @ Jaguars. There's around a 30-percent chance of rain and winds in the 15-20-mph range. Unless conditions worsen closer to kickoff, we wouldn't worry too much about key players in either passing game. The kickers will likely be fine, too, but it might not hurt to look for other options depending on who's available.

WEEK 10 FANTASY ADVICE:
Sleepers | Busts | Projections | Start 'em, sit 'em

Commanders @ Seahawks. This is the most likely game to see rain, with precipitation chances sitting around 80 percent. We'll know closer to kickoff how heavy/steady the rain will be, but for now, we don't advise benching players like DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, Jahan Dotson, or Terry McLaurin. Winds will be low (around 10 mph), so the kickers should be fine, too, but it doesn't hurt to look elsewhere just to be safe. (UPDATE: First half should be dry and the heaviest should fall into late in the game or after the game.)

WEEK 10 DFS: DK lineup | FD lineup | Best values | Best stacks

Broncos @ Bills. There's a low chance of rain and just 10-mph winds, but a night game at Buffalo in November always bears watching right up until kickoff. (UPDATE: Gusts could reach up to 30 mph, but we'd still start all of our usual starters with the possible exceptions of the kickers.)

All of this is subject to change as we get closer to kickoff. You can follow meteorologist Kevin Roth on Twitter (@KevinRothWx) and check out the hourly NFL weather forecasts on RotoGrinders. For the best weather-related fantasy advice, take a look at WeatherEdge.
