NFL DFS Week 10 picks: DraftKings cash lineup, advice and strategy image

Our strategy is to go heavy on WR budget in Week 10's DraftKings cash picks. It’s the first time in a bit that we’ve eschewed the big price tag on both Ezekiel Elliott and Le’Veon Bell in NFL DFS, but we still have some high-volume ball carriers.

Our allocation of resources favors higher floors across our lineup, but we still have high ceilings mixed in there. And we’ll resist running Jacoby Brissett two weeks in a row.

NFL DFS Week 10 Picks: DraftKings cash lineup

QB Jared Goff, LAR vs. HOU ($,6700): If you exclude the Kevin Hogan Experience and the game where Marcus Mariota left injured, Houston's allowed 300 pass yards to each opponent since Week 3. The Rams are favored by two touchdowns, but Sean McVay has shown no qualms with pushing the score to a really comfortable distance -- just ask the Giants, Cardinals and 49ers.

RB Jordan Howard, CHI vs. GB ($6,100): Fears of the Bears falling behind deflated Howard's ADP this summer, but game script has only crushed Howard in one of eight games this season. He trails only Zeke and Le'Veon in carries, and Chicago faces a struggling offense that should keep the Bears in good circumstance for running frequently.

RB Joe Mixon, CIN @ TEN ($4,900): While Mixon hasn't blown the league away like Kareem Hunt and Leonard Fournette at points this season, he's been a veritable 2X value machine, hitting that mark every game since Week 5. This serves cash games well when you're constructing a lineup with a cheaper RB2 slot, hoping to hit 2.5X value like last week.

WEEK 10 RANKINGS
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

WR A.J. Green, CIN @ TEN ($7,700): We don't mind hitting an offense coming off JAX week. Minus getting himself kicked out early in Week 9, Green ranks top four in yards and touchdowns since the Bengals made their offensive coordinator switch in Week 3, per Pro Football Focus data. Green's in a great bounce-back spot at sub-$8K.

WR Marvin Jones Jr., DET vs. CLE ($6,200): Take the Monday night discount on Jones. He blew up at Lambeau after DK prices set for Week 10, and this still comes as a deal given recent workload. In the past three weeks Jones has played — Weeks 6, 8 and 9 — Jones leads the NFL in targets, making him a screaming discount indoors this Sunday.

WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, PIT @ IND ($5,600): We wanted to climb up for Antonio Brown, but that $9,500 price tag didn't work out with our preferred lineup construction. Smith-Schuster makes for a decent play, as we want a piece of any functional passing attack that gets the defense allowing the most yards per pass attempt.

TE Cameron Brate, TB vs. NYJ ($4,100): With Mike Evans' one-game suspension upheld, the targets have to filter somewhere. DeSean Jackson poses too much variance for my cash lineup tastes, so let's tab Brate with only five fewer targets on the season. It's a decent matchup against a defense allowing the seventh-most DK points to opposing tight ends.

FLEX Robert Woods, LAR vs. HOU ($5,000): Woods has been locked into the four-or five-catch, five-to-eight-target range with double-digit DK points since Week 5. If there's one receiver in this efficient Rams offense worth trusting for floor volume, it's Woods slowly creeping from the high $3Ks up to a still-palatable $5K.

D/ST Rams vs. Texans ($3,600): We would love to roll the CJ Beathard fade three weeks running, but we just can't trust the Giants' fervor for playing under Ben McAdoo right now. Vegas spread lays out the game situation where Tom Savage probably needs to throw early and often, so here's where we run our fade on sack-happy quarterbacks this week.
