Is Mark Andrews playing Monday night? Fantasy injury update for Ravens-Saints Week 9 Monday Night Football (Updated) image

Mark Andrews is a top-tier fantasy tight ends, but he's been dealing with multiple injuries over the past few weeks and is listed as "doubtful" for Week 9's Monday night game in New Orleans. That opens the door for sleeper Isaiah Likely to go right from waiver wires to starting lineups.

We'll continue to update this article with news on Andrews until the official active/inactive report comes out on Monday around 6:45 p.m. ET.

Is Mark Andrews playing Monday night Week 9?

UPDATE: Andrews (knee/shoulder) is officially ruled "out" ahead of Baltimore's Week 9 matchup against the Saints. Expect a high snap and target share for fellow TE Isaiah Likely.

Andrews (knee, shoulder) was officially listed as "doubtful" on the Ravens' final injury report ahead of their Week 9 matchup against the Saints on Monday night. It was surprising to see the veteran tight end not ruled out, as he did not practice throughout the week. Last week against the Buccaneers, Andrews suffered a shoulder injury in the first half.

Likely stepped up for the injured Andrews last week, recording six receptions (seven targets) for 77 yards and a touchdown. While it's clear Likely is a talented pass-catchers who will be utilized regularly in the Ravens' TE-friendly scheme, he could have a tougher go of things this week against New Orleans.

WEEK 9 PPR RANKINGS:

Entering Week 9, New Orleans' defense has allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to tight ends this season. While this is not an ideal matchup, we should expect Likely to receive six-plus targets, which gives him low-end TE1 upside. He's more valuable in PPR leagues, but he can work in standard formats, too.
