Is Jakobi Meyers playing Thursday night? Fantasy injury update for Bills-Patriots Week 13 Thursday Night Football (Updated) image

Jakobi Meyers has been a steady producer for fantasy owners this year, but a shoulder injury has his status in doubt for New England's Thursday Night Football showdown with the Bills. If he's out, owners in deep leagues might have to go waiver-wire hunting for a replacement, and if he's active, owners in shallow leagues will have a tough start 'em, sit 'em decision to kick off Week 13. Either way, knowing the latest updates on his status is crucial as we grind closer to the fantasy football playoffs.

We'll continue to update this article with news on Meyers until the official active/inactive report comes out on Thursday around 6:50 p.m. ET.

Is Jakobi Meyers playing Thursday night Week 13?

UPDATE: Meyers got in another limited practice on Wednesday and is officially listed as "questionable" for Thursday night's game against the Bills.

UPDATE 2: ESPN's Adam Schefter confirmed Thursday afternoon that Meyers is expected to play on Thursday night against Buffalo.

UPDATE 3: Meyers is officially ACTIVE.

Meyers played just 16 snaps last week, largely because he injured his shoulder on New England's first drive. He was mostly relegated to key passing downs, but it's encouraging that he was at least able to remain in the game. Meyers got in limited practices on Monday and Tuesday, and he said on Tuesday that he will suit up for Thursday's game against Buffalo.

WEEK 13 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Meyers has been New England's best receiver this year, catching 47 of a team-high 62 targets for 571 yards and three TDs. He's slowed down a bit over the past three games, catching just 12-of-16 looks for 156 yards, but he remains a high-floor play in all formats, especially PPR leagues. Even with Tre'Davious White and Jordan Poyer returning to the Buffalo secondary in recent weeks, Meyers should produce on Thursday night, as the Bills are allowing the 11th-most fantasy points per game to WRs. That includes three 100-yard games and four touchdowns to WR1s (Justin Jefferson, Amari Cooper, Amon-Ra St. Brown) in the past three weeks. Meyers isn't as talented as those players, but he's clearly in a favorable spot.

WEEK 13 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

If Meyers is a surprise scratch, DeVante Parker would operate as New England's top WR and be worth a WR3/flex spot in most lineups. Nelson Agholor would also be in the mix and merit flex consideration in deep leagues.
