Fantasy owners were once again without Austin Hooper this week, and they might be without more stud TEs, including Zach Ertz and Evan Engram. Gerald Everett and David Njoku aren't sure things either, so you might see some mad dashes to the waiver wire in search of tight end sleepers come Sunday morning. Get the latest injury updates on these players so you can beat the rush and prep your Week 13 start 'em, sit 'em decisions a little earlier.

Is Zach Ertz playing Week 13?
UPDATE: Ertz got in a limited practice on Friday and there is "optimism" he will play on Sunday.
Ertz (hamstring) didn't practice on Wednesday and was listed as a "DNP" on Thursday's estimated report. He reportedly played through the injured hamstring last week.
Dallas Goedert is already on the field virtually every play, but if Ertz missed Sunday's game against Miami, Goedert would get a huge bump in value and be a must-start TE. Ertz's absence would knock down Carson Wentz's upside, though, putting him squarely on the QB1 bubble.
WEEK 13 PPR RANKINGS: Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end
Evan Engram injury update
UPDATE: Engram has officially been ruled "out" for Week 13.
Engram (foot) has missed the past two games, and he's also missed the past two practices. At this point, he seems like a longshot to suit up against the Packers.
With Rhett Ellison (concussion) also banged up, Kaden Smith would get his second straight start. He was in on almost every snap last week and caught his first career touchdown. With the Packers ranking in as one of the worst teams at defending tight ends, Smith has some deep-league sleeper appeal.

Gerald Everett injury news
Everett (knee) hasn't practiced all week, and given his lack of snaps the past few games, it's clear his injury has been bothering him for some time. Fantasy owners shouldn't have confidence in him suiting up this Sunday in Arizona.
The Cardinals are by far the worst team at defending TEs, so this opens the door for Tyler Higbee to be a major sleeper this week. Pick him up now if he's available in your league. We'll know more about Everett's availability after Friday's practice.

Is David Njoku playing Week 13?
Despite practicing the past two weeks, Njoku (wrist) still hasn't been activated from the IR, and Browns coach Freddie Kitchens won't commit to him playing Sunday against the Steelers.
MORE WEEK 13: Start/sit | Sleepers | Busts
A matchup against the Steelers is a favorable one, so Njoku would be on the TE1 bubble if he's active. If he's out, fantasy owners can't trust Demetrius Harris, as he simply hasn't been involved enough in the passing game.
