Is Trevor Lawrence playing Week 14? Fantasy injury update for Jaguars-Titans image

Trevor Lawrence has looked like a completely different quarterback this season under head coach Doug Pederson, leading to him being a legit starting option in fantasy football leagues every week. However, heading into a pivotal Week 14, his status is in doubt, as he's listed as "questionable" ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans. If Lawrence can play, he's almost a must-start given the matchup. If he's out, owners will have more difficult start 'em, sit 'em decisions at not only QB, but also WR and TE.

We'll continue to update this article with news on Lawrence until the official active/inactive report comes out on Sunday around 11:35 a.m. ET.

WEEK 14 INJURY UPDATES: RBs | WRs

Is Trevor Lawrence playing Week 14?

UPDATE: ESPN's Adam Schefter reported late Saturday night that Lawrence is expected to play against Tennessee.

UPDATE 2: Lawrence is officially ACTIVE.

Even though Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson told reporters on Friday that Lawrence (toe) is a "game-time decision," ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported that the second-year QB is expected to play. Lawrence was officially designated as "questionable" on the Jaguars' final injury report after getting in a limited practice on Friday.

WEEK 14 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

If Lawrence is ready to play on Sunday, he should be started in most fantasy leagues, especially with six teams on bye. Tennessee's defense is allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to QBs and have the 31st-ranked pass defense (276.7 yards per game allowed). Tennessee also has the third-ranked run defense, so Jacksonville figures to air it out a lot in this game. This is a great spot for Lawrence to rack up around 20 fantasy points

WEEK 14 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

If he's a surprise scratch, C.J. Beathard would start. Even with the highly favorable matchup, he's a risky bet in single-QB leagues. His presence would also hurt the values of Jacksonville's other offensive players. Christian Kirk and Travis Etienne would still be must-starts, but Zay Jones and Evan Engram would be downgraded from top sleepers to riskier bubble options.
